it hasn't worked for me idk what im doing wrong i've tried 7 time and every time i try i get a failed to load on my minecraft when i log in and i reset everything and i try again and it still doesn't work do u have any advice it would really help
This made editing my inventory ten times easier. I really didn't like having to close out my minecraft each time i needed to add items to my inventory.
When i use toomanyitems with one of my custom mods, the generator in minecraft breaks and the program refuses to generate new chunks when you explore and rendering me unable to make worlds. none of the files share names.
If you posted on page 272 asking a question, please open this spoiler. I have replies.
The post was huge, so be happy I spoilered it. Now it is small unless you open the spoiler.
EDIT: KennyWolf, I added a reply for you as well, it takes a long time to do tech support when it's been over 12 hours since I last saw the thread.
Mod edit:Quote deleted by mod (plz don't quote whole first post to ask a question)
does it work with the aether mod i need aether petals bad i just got a black moa egg!!!
1: Thank you, BlueSteelAU, for editing the first post out of the question.
2: Someone edited TooManyItems to show excluded items. The reason some of the items don't appear is because TooManyItems has a built-in blacklist to prevent you from spawning unnatural items which you cannot craft (Like half-doors). Aether exploits this by hiding many of the items. A patch which adds a Show Hidden Items button can be found here.
I have installed this mod, awsome, everything works.
but on my friend's servercraft server i can spawn, it says it spawned my items, but I cannot see them untill I log out and log back in.
Can anyone help?
If I remember correctly, servercraft uses Bukkit. There is a glitch with Bukkit which prevents items from appearing in your inventory if you use the TooManyItems interface, or so I've heard. I'm apparently in the 8% who doesn't have this bug. My items *Always* show up.

I would need access to your other mod to be able to help you. Please list your custom mod (And where to get it), Any other mods (And where to get them), and what order you installed them in.

Achtung! "Does not work" is not a problem description!
Ensure you've deleted META-INF, and use the batch file found in this archive to find an error. It will be in the Command Prompt. If you are on a Mac, I do not know how to get an error report.
272 pages was tl;dr, but is there a reason why TMI doesnt show all the combined items in SMP? I have RedPower mod and most of the items are as such; 116-1 116-2, 116-3, etc. These wont show up. Thanks for the help and a great mod!
To be able to spawn colored wools, different types of wood, all the colors of dyes, and different saplings (As well as any other things added by mods), you need a server plugin which alters the /give command to support damage. For instance, the Essentials plugin uses the /item {1}:{3} {2} syntax, with {3} being damage. There are other server mods which provide a similar effect. You need to get one of said mods, then modify the give-command line in Toomanyitems.txt to have the same syntax. The aforementioned items will appear in the spawning GUI, and the commands will work.
This mod has suddenly stopped working for me. I cant see any of the options. I tried reinstalling it and see what would happen and its not worked. Any suggestions?
I couldn't find the META-INF in the normal Minecraft.jar, so I found it in the 1.7.3.jar instead, deleted it from there. Took everything, stuffed it in there. Minecraft runs, but the mod won't show up, no matter how much I spam "o."
If you have any two cents to add, go ahead. I'm going to play around with sticking it in different places (the original minecraft.jar?) I'm on a mac.
The only file I replaced was something that was like, ID's or something. I don't remember the name.
EDIT: Lolnevermind, just moved the files to the normal .jar, and it looks like it works fine.

The Minecraft 1.7.3 folder is from MC-Patcher I believe, correct me if I am wrong. You should always ignore that one for it doesn't do anything but make your texture packs compatible with your MC.
Hello!
I am trying to use Mixcraft HD texture pack and TooManyItems, but they seem to clash. They both work independently, but when they are installed at the same time, it prevents minecraft from loading properly, I'm stuck at the green bar with a tiny sliver of brown left.
Perhaps this would be something you'd like to look into?
OS: Mac OS X 10.6.8
EDIT: 10:38PM
Instead of installing TMI to the minecraft 1.7.3.jar, I decompiled the standard minecraft.jar file, and installed the classes there.
Worked for me after that. A bit confusing, perhaps a little note on the front page about that may be useful for other mac users?
thanks.

minecraft-1.7.3.jar is a vanilla backup. Don't mod it. Mod minecraft.jar, or minecraft.jar.zip, or whatever you're using.
Is there any way you can make a bukkit addon that'll allow colored wool and damaged items to work normally? This would be very great and helpful. I have to use colored wool a lot in my server but it's always such a pain getting the materials for it first and then have way more than I need.

That's because if you could spawn items without having access to /give, it would be a hack, and not a mod, and as such would be removed.
Check your downloads folder.
Restore from a backup of minecraft.jar
It works. It must be a problem with your installation. Do you have any other mods? List them and in what order they were installed.

The latest version of OptiFine (The name was changed) seems to be incompatible with 99% of mods I install. I recommend using the OptiFog_HD_C variant.
EDIT:KennyWolf, you posted while I was writing that monstrosity. Anyway, adding a reply for you.
Try pressing the O key with your inventory up.

Did you delete the META-IMP folder in your Bin?

You have to delete your Bin folder.
It should be. Works fine for me.
You can not spawn any of the dungeon items in TMI sorry :tongue.gif: the Modders who made Aether made sure of that.

There are no previous versions other than those listed in the "Additional Downloads" section of the OP.
Hmm, well sometimes for me i must hold o for a second
Did you even install it?
