Hello, well, I am making an adventure map, and I am attempting to make my sky colour completely black, and as you are obviously incredibly good at doing this sort of thing, can you please tell me how to edit the Minecraft folders or something like that, to make the sky black - without a mod, just a manual change - . Possibly inside a texture pack, as I would like to make it downloadable.
Sadly there are no settings outside of code to change the color of the sky. You could try to change the clouds.png in minecraft.rar/environement to semi-change the sky color but it wont be very complete.
I have no idea when I will get an update out, I haven't really been in the mood to work on this and have moved on to working on a game developed using XNA. I might get around to doing an update eventually, but doesn't look likely for the next month.
Also not sure how much things broke with the newer updates.
Could You Kindly Try to Update This? i Want It So Bad
Rate: (max:10) /10 7/10. i like the idea, but really, more then that at least. and update it please? Steve is not happy because its not updated. But Notch Gives a +
So, Dinnerbone is doing pretty good with adding new stuff to Minecraft. How about we all give him a short tweet asking for a "/set timescale" command so we can have our 24-hour Minecraft days back?
For those unfamiliar, "/set timescale" is a console command available for the PC version of Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout:New Vegas. Entering "/set timescale 1" will cause in-game days to be 24 hours instead of 24 minutes or whatever. The /time set|add function already exists in minecraft, so why not give us the option to customize the length of in-game days?
It's a shame that Strebler chose to quit updating this mod NOW, after I've finally landed a job that actually pays me a living wage, because now I could afford to donate to his paypal in the first post, but the lack of this thread's activity kinda makes me cautious. ::shrugs sadly::

Actual support for a timescale is a great idea and should be suggested to the Minecraft team. I *might* start modding again once an API is released. I just don't have the umph or the motivation to do it right now.
Edit: read that the date is thursday. Awesome.
