Oi- just saw how a page back someone wanted the URL for the maps website. Here: http://www.adventurecraftmap.webs.com. Also, Cryect, you should really have an FAQ for the two questions that get asked the most. You know the ones.

Yes, I know his name was actually spelled Fibonacci.
Funnily enough, I think Pascal was cooler.
My AdventureCraft maps Website: http://www.adventuremap.webs.com
I must be doing something wrong when trying to play user made maps I've downloaded. I have unzipped them in the maps directory. They show up fine in the world selection screen. However, when I try to play them I get a new map generated instead of the map. The biome test and mayan temple work correctly. Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?

Yes, I do. It happened to me as well. With the new saving format, the game can't seem to work with the adventure-craft blocks, so it kind of doesn't work. I didn't find a fix for it yet, and there probably isn't one. Your best bet is to try and load the downloaded levels with the normal minecraft launcher, then take the changed world folder and put it in the maps directory. That MIGHT work, though don't count on it.
Basically new version to help map designers and tackle the issue with maps getting chunks generated that get converted but not referencing a map directory.
[*:f069mlm2]Terrain images can be loaded from the save directory if they fail to load them the map directory (for conversions).
[*:f069mlm2]Fixes loading of map texture overrides.
[*:f069mlm2]Adds a wrench which can be used to swap nonredstone/trigger blocks with a clicked on block.
[*:f069mlm2]Wood and wool subtypes now in palette.
[*:f069mlm2]Adds a couple new colors for coloring.
[*:f069mlm2]Can toggle ice melting via /togglemelting and toggle leaves decaying via /toggledecay.
I've started to make a map, how do I transfer it to a newer version?
For transferring from a 1.2 version to the 1.3 version put the map into the save folder. Load up the save and after it converts move the folder to the maps folder.
For newer version of AdventureCraft just install over a previous version and in general it works fine but if you run into issues delete the bin folder then reextract AC over the folder.

That did it. I loaded the map into normal minecraft, converted it and copied the files back to adventure craft. Thanks for the tip.
Hey, I'm having a problem with the build you just released, whenever I go to make a new map, either a randomly generated or .png generated map, minecraft immedietely crashes with this error:

Stopping!
I installed onto a clean copy of minecraft. Any suggestions? Great mod by the way.
hay cryect do you think you could make it so the world can have a higher or indefinite hight limit so you have no limitations on how high you can build or if you want like a sky dungeon?
I started using this mod for the adventure I'd been making and it is amazingness! A few things though...
-Teleport blocks would be an amazing addition to this mod.
-The portals I had in game before using AdventureCraft no longer go to the same area.
-An ascend/descend key for /fly mode would make me happy. I'm used to zombe's mods and the new flying style throws me way off :S
Because redstone power and redstone trigger blocks are visible outside of debug mode, could they be given a more aesthetically-pleasing texture that would fit in with other normally-visible blocks, please?

Well, if your map has custom textures, you can change it yourself.

I had a signature here before, but I seem to have misplaced it..

I've started to replace them and next version should have them swapped.

Plus modding the items is quite fun. I turned the bowl/soup into a bottle/potion for fun and changed the pumpkin into a horizontal log for aesthetics. And then there's MCSkinEditor for making characters - I've got character avatars and messed around with the zombie and skeletons. It's just neat for someone with no technological prowess to be able to have something I did show up in the game.
Any update on the NPCs? How it's coming along, what would they actually do?
Not a bug, but I was getting crashes every time I tried to load the biome map until I figured out that if you toss in another map's level.dat it'll work. Just have to make sure you're at a proper height to not immediately fall to your death/be buried in earth.
Also - thanks to some kind of dark sorcery performed by Cryect, my map works again. So I guess that's back on.
superedit - Wow, BBCode got turned off RIGHT when I tried to make a quote, causing me to doubt my comprehension skills. Weird.
As Cyborg just mentioned, without an error log it's almost impossible to help you find a solution. If the game is crashing when you go to make a map, run the "adventurecraft.bat" file which will open a command line shell. Go make a map, let minecraft crash, then right click anywhere inside the command line window, choose select all, then dump it into a post here.
If it's not that problem, again, we need specific information before we can help.

It would help if you could be more specific. Perhaps give an error log.
