When I'm installing, it says "patch.DAT (Cannot find the file)" then "Finished installing!". When I try to open it, it says "A Java Exception has occurred." What does it mean?
Why the HELL is it that nobody can get their **** working? All I do is click the link he provides, download the file, unzip into a folder in my Local folder, and run the program. I Install via Login, and it downloads the minecraft stuff into the bin folder. THEN I PLAY THE GAME. How is it that I can do all that, simple and easy, and yet every other person who tries to use it ****s something up. It seems there are only like five of us who don't get error messages. I have NEVER had a problem with Adventurecraft. It's simple to install (and you don't even really install it, you just run the program). What are you all doing wrong?!

I wonder if it's just me or if it happens to everyone ? Could somebody try out ?
I have a problem. when I start Adventurecraft.jar 1.2.4 it gives me an error saying it cant find the AC launcher class.how do I fix this?

I had to skim through several pages of this topic to find it. It really should be on the first post considering it affects anyone who doesn't have the same OS/Java version as the mod creator.
To all who have problems on AdventureCraft that says that you don't have 1.1. Download AdventureCraft from this place. Then once you download it, open up the launcher but don't install. You need to download the one from the topic that says "Been a long time but here's a 1.2.4 Installer Version." That's what I did and it worked.

I followed your exact instructions, and still no love. It tells me I need version 1.1. Also both link to the same file (Link Removed) so downloading from within the installer is pointless.
I have a problem where when i double click the adventurecraft.jar(or the application with a sword icon)I get a error message saying,"Could not find the main class: ACLauncher. Program will exit" Is there something I didn't download or another problem?(I do have a completely clean .minecraft file)It did work a while back but not anymore.Any help would be appreciated

The one problem (maybe a problem?) I seem to be having is chests that will randomly disappear at different intervals of time (usually no longer than 10 or so seconds). I checked the wiki, and to my surprise found that locked chests or normal chests were not listed as blocks or items (am I not looking in the right place?). Then I googled a variety of searches involving "disappearing chests" and came up empty handed. So that leads me to the conclusion that:
A. I'm not doing something right (like having to somehow interact with the chest right after placing it?).
-or-
B. It's a really new bug?

I think your problem is that you use locked chests. You have to use chests, because locked chests were just a trick from Notch for Halloween update. Somehow they are in Adventure Craft but they aren't of any use given that they disappear.

Curse PremiumYou have to run the adventurecraft.jar with java instead of launching with the .exe or .bat, otherwise you have to re-download AC.
There's a link in the launcher.
