Can you make it for cracked minecraft too because it sucks im really interested but the bad thing is i cant get the full version of minecraft
Please do it if you can
It does work for cracked just use install instead of install via login.
(I bought the game awhile ago but Mojang just stole my money and never upgraded my account to say that I bought the game). And their proposed solution? "Buy the game again".... What so you can steal my money again? :angry.gif:
It can be done by using the adventurecraft custom scripting system, I'm planning on trying to script it myself.
LOCKPICKING ENGINE? >.> THAT'S ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE
No it's definately possible, the hardest part is getting the door to open when the lock it picked. (EDIT I suppose you could use hidden redstone to open the door when the lock is picked.
Yeah... good luck for proving me that. I expect fully functional gui rotating and lockpick blocking system
If you're so smart you should do locked chest as well. (That's impossible for sure)
I'm imagining a block with a lock design on it that operates like a Store block, triggering and then disappearing. You could place it in the middle of triggerable doors or in front of a normal door or on top of a chest (so it can't be opened until the block is gone). The picking itself could be done through something like a game of Simon, with four or five dots that flash a pattern that you'd have to repeat. The pattern would be random (so you can't just remember it should you die and the door reset) and the difficulty controlled by the maker upon placement. Say a difficulty of 1 give you two dots while a difficulty of 5 might give you a seven or ten dot pattern.

I didn't mean to be cocky or arrogant I know it would be hard to script, I'm just saying that it is possible, I don't plan on scipring it any time sood either, only when I'm more experienced with the adventurecraft scripting. As for the locked chest it is possible, you could have an invisible block above the chest (stopping you from opening it), when you hit the chest block AC will check if you have the key in your possesion, if you do then the block will be destroyed, allowing you to open the chest. This same principle could be used for doors (without lockpicking, just keys).
Someone before had this same issue and posted here but got no response. Has anyone tried using the Experience script by Enzer? After putting it in it gives the error message:
"Javascript Error: Reference Error: "expAmount" is not defined. (onupdate..js#1)"
I don't know very much about this but it looks like everything is correctly in place but it still doesn't work, if anyone could help out here I would be very appreciative.

Hey, I need a little help again. I was creating a boss-room, and tried spawning a giant skeleton. I made sure the spawn was not too close to the walls and was above the ground enough so it wouldn't get stuck.
When I triggered the mob spawner, the giant skeleton spawned and at the same time as spawning, died. I thought it was just the placement of the mob spawner, but I tried it with other mob spawners and different mobs, and even went so far as to trying other maps to see if the problem persisted.
Well, it did. So now I'm stuck with no mobs. :\
Anyone know what happened? I don't have any /config scripts running, so I don't think it could be that. I appreciate any help.

Could you upload the map please and direct me to the place in the map, so I can test it.
Hey, thanks for responding. I'm currently using the Biome Test map with a trigger and a monster spawner. I uninstalled and reinstalled AC (while saving my previous map to a new folder in my computer, of course) and it still isn't working.
A slime spawned once, and I was like YES! and then it just broke again. Nothing is spawning. The respawn delay is set to 0 seconds and there's enough room all around for something to spawn.
:sad.gif:
EDIT: I FIXED THE PROBLEM... don't even know how. I had to replace the spawn and it worked. /confused
Does anyone know how to change the icon of an item? Or at least assign diffrent icons to the same itemID but diffrent damages? (like the woolblocks and dyes or the hookshot, umbrella and bomerang do.) A short tutorial or at least a skript (.js) to look at would be nice.
I know how to change the icon of an item, but I'm not sure about any of the scripts.
To change the icon, go into the ACBin using WinRAR (or whatever similar program). Open the gui folder, and then open the items.png in an image editing program like Photoshop or Paint.net.
Then just edit the item and save. :cool.gif:

Actually, you'd have to save it in the proper folder in your map. Items.png, for instance, would have to go into YourMap/gui. Really, you can change almost anything - items, sounds, mob skins, the HUD - as long as you put it in the corresponding folder inside your map.

Oh, OK, my bad. Thanks, I didn't know that. :smile.gif:

In your adventurecraft folder there should by one or more files called somthing like "hs_err_pid1864.log" Open them up and post the contents here.

I assume the hard part is trying to choose which spots will make the lock open lol
OR just all of it.

installerlogin.exe? You should be using the adventurecraft.exe to install adventurecraft.
By the way does anyone know of a minecraft mapper that will actually open adventurecraft saves, I'm trying to create a map of my AC map.
