If You want to play regular 1.5_01 minecraft and still have adventurecraft you can just copy the .minecraft folder
to another spot, then delete adventurecraft folder from the first .minecraft(the one you copied from) and update it.
Adventurecraft works fine from the Copied .minecraft. You can put the copied file anywhere in your computer and it would work just fine as if it was the actual .minecraft. Thus you shall have minecraft 1.5_01 and adventurecraft,
though adventurecraft would only be updated to 1.4_01. To play adventurecraft from the Copied folder do the same as you would always do. Go to .Minecraft(the copy). Open adventurecraft and doubleclick Adventurecraft .exe.
It was im using untill Adventurecraft 1.5_01 is stable enough for use.
THIS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO ALREADY HAVE ADVENTURECRAFT INSTALLED ON 1.4_01
This update is mainly for bugs that crept in with the 1.5 update but I threw in some mobs quickly that use guns for those who are making maps with guns. Nothing too special just skeletons and zombies with weapons.
[*:3f5hj8qx]Fixed redstone texture.
[*:3f5hj8qx]Fixed trigger memory to not render like grass.
[*:3f5hj8qx]Hookshot and umbrella icon updates correctly now.
[*:3f5hj8qx]Adds some new mobs: Skeleton w/ Rifle, Skeleton w/ Shotgun, Zombie w/ Pistol.
I just doubled the size of both the terrain and the biomemap, so instead of 255x255 it was 510x510, but i heard that it doesnt work as well since update 1.3 (or something like that).
Also, on your biomemap, on the color changing thing (i hope you are using photoshop, because thats the only one i know how to do this in, and i dont belive you can use channels in paint.net) set the 'B'(black) value in the color changer to "50", and color the whole red channel that color (itll be a light grey color). On the blue channel, set the B value 20 or so, (itll be a dark grey) and color in the whole thing. the rgb channel should be either green or maroon now (maroon if you keep the green channel black). this should make is a flat, treeless plain
Do you get what im trying to tell you?
I was using paint.NET though I thought that channels in Photoshop just mixed colors together for easier use. For example, if you have your blue channel with blue set to 255 and your red channel with red set to 255, it would mix the two colors. So basically on paint.NET, I just mixed the colors together, skipping all the channel steps. For example on the terrainMap...
The purple-ish part is the water. (R: 124, G: 86, B: 109)
The part around it is just higher land rimming around the water. (R: 125, G: 110, B: 0)
Those created this...
So I don't get it, do you have to use channels to create these things, or is it much easier?
Oh, and I didn't get what you were saying at all, since I don't use Photoshop.

Sorry for asking, but do saplings grow into trees? or are they purely for decoration? ALso, is there an easy way to get large oak trees?i have plans for the start of a level to be in a walled off bit of town with large trees right outside of the walls. I really do not feel like placing all the leaves and stuff, and i would appreciate I there was some way to do it. Thanks!
