When I have the mod installed, Minecraft won't load past the "Updating Minecraft" screen. The load bar stops about half an inch from being full. I followed the instructions completely, including deleting META-INF, and tested a fresh minecraft.jar, which worked fine.
you have to get rid of the full bin folder not just the minecraft.jar
also just beat it it was awesome :biggrin.gif:! but one thing, the room with 8 zombie spawns than spikes in the middle. is that supposed to be like that? if you dont know what room then its the room where you get a key to go into the room for the shield
I just finished my first playthrough. Simply brilliant! I'm going on vacation for a week, but when I get back I'll get straight to work on adding support for your mod to my adventure map.
Feedback: When you die, monsters that you spawned remain in their room. When you re-enter the room, more monsters spawn in addition to those, which can create a very dangerous situation. If you repeatedly enter a room and die without clearing it, you create a positive feedback loop of ever-increasing monster numbers.
Requests: A skeleton with a shield, so you have to hit his legs to hurt him. I'd also love a floating skull that bounces around the room and is highly damage-resistant. Lastly, like Shen said above, a fairy that restores your full life bar would be great.
Anyway, thanks so much for this amazing mod, and keep up the great work.
do you plan on adding triggers that make chests that contain items appear? it'd be nice to have these in pressure pad/button/switch flavor too so i can remake tail cave from link's awakening
also on a clean install, usually after death on this current version, i'm crashing a lot. it's kinda frustrating to kill the last spider and have the game crash over and over when the key is just an inch away.

This isn't working for me. it sticks up at the "Updating Minecraft ; Done loading" screen. I installed everything into a clean minecraft.jar, so somethings obviously wrong. Anyone wanna help me?

Had the same problem, but Minecraft didn' crash, it took tooo long to load.
Just change the render distance to far or middle. (Year the Ultra long render distance is a bit buggy, and i dont realy need it ^^...)

Thats a bug, they are suppose to die when you die. Will have to check that out. It worked in Alpha and was working yesterday I thought when I was messing around. Any particular mob?

Yeah, need more mobs and such though not quite yet as need more basic features I'm afraid.

Oh!! Thats due to a texture change, I changed the cobblestone and base stone to be a lighter version and the furnace must use it for the top. Will fix that when I move the texture modifications to a new texture.

Not currently possible but I want to add a toggle trigger block that will send the opposite and also just a memory trigger block that once its turned on it will never send out a detrigger. Then you will be able to do what you want.

I take it you're purposefully ignoring everyone who would want the boomerang and shield by themselves? That's a bit bossy. "Get rid of all of your old mods, replace World 3, and you can have these things along with the rest of the dungeon mod."
Rather than just the shield and boomerang, which are perfect additions to normal Minecraft.

I didn't get rid of all my mods. I simply used a backup copy of minecraft.jar to install Cryect's mod. It is easy to switch back and forth. For the save i just renamed world3 and put cyrect's world3 folder in saves. No need to lose anything. Their his mods. He can distribute them as he wants.

Is it possible to get the map on it's own, as it is a work of beauty and when I try to use it straight from the package I get an error as I'm guessing the mod items in the chests cause it. I understand if it would take too long but I'm sure people would love this beautiful island without having to install the mod.

This mod as a whole can't be made modloader compatible per say unless I integrate modloader into the mod since this is a total conversion. I might do that but its another task with a lot of work and makes a lot of potential issues for people's dungeons that have to be considered.
And JackFrozt, yeah I'm fine with someone else splitting them off if they want. I'm planning to release the source here shortly.

Added a palette you can use to select any block or item you want. Make note the mob spawner you need is the second one not the first one. To bring it up press F7 and then use F7/F8 to scroll through all the items in the palette.
