I will look at learning how to use modloader to release several of my mods to be compatible with it.
For those interested in making maps in a similar style the images biome.png and terrain.png in the misc folder of the minecraft.jar control how the terrain gets created.
Terrain.png
Red Channel - If the value is greater than 127 then sand will be placed near the edges of water.
Green Channel - Controls the height of the terrain (gets divided by 2 so the full range can be used)
Blue Channel - Controls the water height (gets divided by 2 so the full range can be used)
Biome.png
Red Channel - Controls the temperature with 255 being hot and 0 being freezing
Green Channel - Controls the humidity with 255 being humid and 0 being arid
So the example terrain.png that made the map included which will create the island without the temple and dungeon if you start a new level.

After beating the dungeon, I have some things to say:
When you place your shield in your crafting box, restart MC and go to the world again, the shield is gone.
Other than that, great mod! The tension as I walked into the first room (waterfall with slimes) was high. When the doors slammed shut and the slimes appeared, I flinched to hard that I threw the torch across the room. Literally.

Yes, Cryect, boomerang and shield. I love the idea of this mod but for regular MC do you have the ability to edit the boomerang and shield into a separate mod, and use that for regular MC? Thank you! much appreciated if you reply.
i made a new clean minecraft version for this and add that mod....
It works but i have some problems with that...
Bugs (for me):
- Respawn points aren't invisible (like in your youtube videos), they are white
- Same with Trigger box, doors (i think that are doors) and Mob Spawner :/

Only visible in debug mode with the -original- MC texture pack. Default textures.
Oh yeah forgot to say you will have to use the default texture pack as there is several custom textures. I should look at moving them to a separate texture image file so you can still use packs.

I'm getting a minor yet annoying problem with this mod, every so often the Minecraft applet closes. It saves where I was but I have to open the game again.
EDIT: It seems that the close also resets all doors and triggers in the world, making some rooms inescapeable because there is no key.
And that included dungeon is mean, dumping three spiders on me after defeating some sword skeletons!

If you're callin' about the Mobtalker scripts, I no longer have access to them.
However, it's been getting tempting lately to put together a modpack that includes CustomNPCs, so I could definitely work in something along the same themes in the modpack's quests. Feel free to give suggestions of mods that promote an experience which minimizes mining grind in favor of exploration. I'll likely have to include Grimorie of Gaia to provide good models (No I'm not gonna directly change the default mob models)
but i cant figure our how the editing tools work :\

You should add /give command cause we cant obtain logs from trees or its just me
The plan is to let you view all the blocks and items in debug mode and place whatever ones you want into your inventory and when they get place not used up. Also need a trash can to get rid of them when you are done.
