That is why I specifically said that the modloader version of the mod is to be installed after modloader itself. That way, you end up with the cv.class that merges GLSL with Modloader :wink.gif:
The only difference between the plain version and the modloader version is, in fact, cv.class
Ah now i understand, its just that i usually install my mods with McPatcher, so i remove the cv.class from modloader and patch it. (Mcpatcher is my answer to everything :tongue.gif:)
1.7? Ever? just skip all the old ones, it's not a step by step, just work on 1.7 already, I REALLY want this!

dawn you should make a new "UNOFFICIAL" post in the mods section. please do and then reply here with the link. that way you can have a full page to announce and update where people can see it.
I got this working with 1.7.3, but now I can't change my texture pack in game without it crashing.
I know it runs fine because I ran with a fresh install the first time and the default pack worked just fine. Then when I tried to change to any other pack, 16x, 32x, 64x... it didn't matter, it would crash when trying to click on a different pack in the texture packs and mods screen.
If I changed the texture pack by editing the options.txt file, it worked about half the time. I.E. not crashing on the first splash-screen.
Yes, I followed the installation instructions to a tee (several times), I have also been using this mod since 1.3/1.4 and never had issues like this.

True, but Optimine+Optifog only change rendering using materials already in mirecraft (Smooth lighting, fancy/fast graphics, fog distances) so i figured it might be possible. oh well i guess ill have to choose between no lag, and beautiful rendering.
edit: got it installed...Now how do i get the custom textures to work? Wouldn't the mc patcher break the mod?
i installed this to a clean minecraft.jar (along with zans minimap and risugamis deathchest) and ran mcpatcher after and all my texture packs work and everything is fine.
The modloader version is to be installed after modloader itself.
Default shaders included (DOF and World Curvature). For more, download the official 1.5 package, or visit the wiki. See first post of this thread.
I decided against releasing the source code. It's basically the same code as the latest official version, only more messy since it's decompiled. Also, I think Mojang might disapprove if I released substantial amounts of the decompiled game here.
Enjoy :smile.gif:
I'm having a weird problem. I run MCpatcher, then install Modloader, then install the ModLoader version of this mod in your post. When the Mojang logo fades, all I get is the menu background, then blackness. Not even a crash. I've tried removing CV.class from Modloader when installing just to be safe, that didn't work either. I thought it might have been a case of not having any height or specular textures in the pack I had selected, so I put them in. Still the same thing. If I install this mod, I can't get to the menu. For the sake of experimentation, I haven't installed any mods other than, in order of installation:

1) Start MCPatcher
2) Add ModLoader: Press '+', Navigate to your ModLoader zip, press Ok, then Ok again on the directory selection, then when it comes up showing you the class files, select cv.class, remove it ('-'), then press Ok
3) Add GLSL Shader mod: Press '+', Navigate to the GLSL unofficial 1.7.3 ML zip, press Ok, Ok, Ok
4) Make sure everything you want is checked
5) Click Patch!
This way you're installing the HD Texture (+fonts, bettergrass etc.) AND the mods using MCPatcher.
I use MCPatcher for installing all of my mods now, it makes it far easier to find/resolve conflicts, and saves the list of mods, so when a new version of minecraft comes out, I just replace the mod .zip files with updated ones, open MCPatcher, and press Patch.
It's so beautiful! my eyes are bleeding, thank you. But just one thing it conflicts with Optimine+Optifog, is that fixable?
That is one of the dumbest things I've read on this thread.
You're trying to use a mod that increases the graphics quality and causes more load on your gpu, with two mods that reduce graphics to reduce load on your gpu?
I didn't even know MCpatcher was capable of that. Huh.
That being said, I have no idea why this issue is cropping up now, given that it's worked previously without using mcpatcher to install mods. It's just this version of GLSL that's giving me issues.
Also, does anyone know how to edit which set of blocks waves in the waving wheat etc. shader? Apparently pistons are in the set of blocks that shader has set to wave.

one question... do i dounload the 1.5 glsl shader then implament this in with it or what. its really buggy on its own.
It looks like you've got the resolution set wrong on your bump mapping shader. I'm just going to go for the easy fix. I'm pretty sure these are the right shaders you're looking for:

Please try to optimize your code, if possible. Even with all my lovely and intricate FPS boosters, this lags like hell.

3. GLSL Unofficial ML 1.7.3
It's just not working. Any ideas?
Already did that. I should have stated that, but I thought it was a given considering I am using 32x and above texture packs.
I install in this order:
Fresh 1.7.3 > Mcpatcher > modloader > GLSL shader mod > CJB's (which has never conflicted with this shader mod before).
I just found a cv.class file in the CJB mod, so I'm guessing thats the most likely culprit. Haven't been able to test that yet though.
Thanks for the help anyhow.
I had the exact same issue. Try:
1) Start MCPatcher
2) Add ModLoader: Press '+', Navigate to your ModLoader zip, press Ok, then Ok again on the directory selection, then when it comes up showing you the class files, select cv.class, remove it ('-'), then press Ok

file Final.fsh
HIGH_QUALITY_BLUR option - is off
replace in file

Just copy them into the shaders directory in minecraft.jar.

Those dubstep songs you play in your vids are amazing. Keep them coming!
And thanks, Laurina, for updating this!
She's working off Dax's code, and regardless, adding graphical features will tax your GPU.
1.) AA doesn't seem to work unless it's in 16x which is laggy.
2.) I don't see any other settings options besides the AA option in the graphics settings menu.
3.) This seems to break the mip-mapping mod HERE, but I'm not sure why.
I've grown to love that mip-mapping mod as the game looks so grainy without it. Especially looking at things far away.
