please for the love to of the all mighty please update this to 1.7.3 before the 1.7.4 or 1.7.5 or maybe it will just skip 1.7.4 and just go strait to 1.8 i don't care just please update this before then. pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I've been trying to mess around and figure out how to install this unofficial version, but I just can't figure it out :/ Can someone please give me some simple instructions? I would be forever indebted.
Install it with Mcpatcher
for the modloader version remove cv.class from modloader

awesome i am back in heaven. i only got to try these for a few days before the 1.7 cycle started and wrecked them. anyone know how to get dof + megustas cross processing shader?
ps - lol at the ppl who can somehow write but not read. how can you be half literate i wonder? its funny to see ppl saying 'oh i love this can you update it?' or worse being rude about it...not realizing its posted like three posts up, fully working and awesome.

Yeah, no kidding. Look, another one right below you.
About mixing shaders, I'm no programmer but I've been able to pick and choose which shaders/features I want well enough. I just can't tell which shader the one you linked is supposed to be? (base.vsh, base.fsh, final.fsh?) If it's a final.fsh, you're screwed. I'm almost positive the final.fsh has to be the one that adds DoF, and there's no way to combine two without redoing the code. Where did you find that link? Maybe I can find something helpful there. I'm curious about this shader you linked.

its the Megusta cross processing and better bloom one linked here. i came to the same conclusion as you regarding final.fsh when i was messing around with these on 1.6.6 right before they got broken by 1.7 update. i have tried the other ones there but i really dont like the cell shader/outlines and all the other crap ppl add. i just want waving plants, dof and that nice bloom effect in the megusta shader =(
edit - also dying to find the shaders/texture pack this guy is using in which was posted a few pages back...if anyone knows anything about this please share...

Oh, I see. I'll mess around tomorrow but I don't think we're gonna get what you want.
That Russian vid, he may be using Ghost2's shaders, they give the specularity and bump mapping you're seeing if your texture pack supports them (ghost2's does, but they're not as extreme as in the texture pack in this video). You can get those shaders and textures here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/213805-128ghost2-hd-pack-shader-support-16x/
Don't try them without the terrain_s.png and terrain_nh.png or you'll get some horrible effects. At least I assume that's what my problem was (or maybe the shaders are just outdated).

yeah terrain_s is the specularity map (shininess). if you use the shader with a pack that doesnt have that file it just makes everything into a big white reflection. i would love to use a bump/spec like that video but i am using a heavily customized texture pack and it would take a lot for me to switch to something else lol (if i could get the shaders/pack from that video i would totally switch though).
i got a bit of progress altering one of the configs from that wiki to get nice bloom/dof/waving plants...but the bloom is nothing like megustas shader. his almost looks like an hdr render, would kick so much ass with dof...

The modloader version is to be installed after modloader itself.
Default shaders included (DOF and World Curvature). For more, download the official 1.5 package, or visit the wiki. See first post of this thread.
I decided against releasing the source code. It's basically the same code as the latest official version, only more messy since it's decompiled. Also, I think Mojang might disapprove if I released substantial amounts of the decompiled game here.
Enjoy :smile.gif:
When I install it, It crashes and says this:

Is there any way to prevent the outlines from rendering on weather? Rain makes it impossible to see with the black borders.
