It works with Magic Launcher, don't put it in mods or coremods folder, put it in where you usally install your mods on ML (i know mispelled words).
So wait. You mean, use Magic Launcher to load Mod Loader but instead of actually loading Timber into Magic Launcher, just place it in the .minecraft\versions\1.6.2\mods folder? Lemme do some testing....
OK - it works if you put Timber! (1.6.2).zip directly in the folder listed above and do not list it / add it to Magic Launcher. It does NOT seem to work if you put it in the .minecraft\mods folder, however, which is the old way of doing it.

ModLoader no longer uses the .minecraft/mods folder, only Magic Launcher still does. So it is still a Magic Launcher issue.

BTW, just tested a suggestion from someone and they said to put the Timber.zip file into that mods folder under Versions but manually add it to Magic Launcher from that location. If I do that, it works and shows up in Magic Launcher.

Hey I downloaded the mod a couple weeks ago but i got to say it sure does annoy me when i decide to build most of my house out of tree wood and every piece of wood that connects to it falls down. Just built a forge and to add some contrast to the cobblestone i put spruce in between it. Needless to say i made 1 mistake knocked the block out with an axe and the entire structure fell to the ground. Could you please fix this to where it only recognizes when your cutting a tree down instead of structures? Maybe link it to the item ids on the leaves.

I have to Agree, It's mighty nice to have it as is when your spawned near a village in Large Biomes in the Desert without a tree in sight.. Just run to the village and demolish their gardens and houses and it's Wood 0 Plenty lol When I don't want All the wood I just use my fist or another piece of wood.. Didn't know about the Shift Option, Will try that next time

If I even HAVE the mod in my mods folder and try to connect to my private server it gives me errors and wont let me connect I wish at least that part would work lmao And my whole family has to do that since we all use it for solo play...

Because dropbox locks my account every time more than 5 (I exaggerate but it feels like that) people download off it.
