You may want to just keep trying. There is some new file download screen that just showed up for me today and I had to type in a code to confirm I was a human. Perhaps that screen will show for you after you click the "Skip Ad" button.
I am not getting anything new - this is what I see on the page where the download should be.
Because I would have to edit the mods individually. I can't just "add the IDs" like I can with the axes. And most mod authors get extremely y about that sort of thing.
Lame... I'm sorry. There are other mods that do this same thing but come with the ability to add wood ID's.
I was thinking you may want to update the first mention so that it identifies both Forge Modloader and Risugami's ModLoader like it does under the Download area.
I can't download Timber... I go to the adfly thing but then it redirects me to a different site that doesn't give me a link to anywhere... is that supposed to happen...?
Timber isn't compatible with modloader on magic launcher, and forge is having trouble with magic launcher. >_>
Don't use Magic Launcher then... I would recommend MultiMC. I have been using it for a few months, and as long as you know where the mod should go, it shouldn't have any problems with any mods. The only thing that Magic Launcher is better in (in my opinion) is that MultiMC doesn't tell you if mods are compatible with each other
I'm not sure if this has been suggested, but I feel Timber makes the game easy. Don't get me wrong; I love this mod! However, I was wishing there would be an option to have the axes take durability damage equal to the amount of logs in the tree. Instead of just one point of durability per 8-50 blocks. It would make it more realistic and not as easy. Just a suggestion.

I don't think that would be more "realistic"
In real life, if you chop down a tree, you chop it at the base and the entire tree falls over to the ground. You don't have to go chop every piece of wood on the felled tree, so you don't wear your axe out because you only need to chop through one time, at the base.
The Timber Mod basically mirrors real life in that way. You chop at the base, the whole tree falls.
War does not determine who is right. Only who is left.

The "Download This File" button is the download button.

You might want to consider an ad-blocking plugin. Websites like that are quite annoying.

Updates:
20/12/2012 - Timber 1.4.6 released. Uses Forge ModLoader.
But on the download area below, it says this:
Download
Timber! 1.4.6
Requires Forge ModLoader or ModLoader.
I was thinking you may want to update the first mention so that it identifies both Forge Modloader and Risugami's ModLoader like it does under the Download area.
Just to avoid any potential confusion.
Thanks much.
If you read the mod's description, you will see what it does...
