Sorry to tell you this, Tehkrush, but Timber crashes with the latest Forge (842). I have used this mod for loooong time. Please fix. Thank you for all your hard work on all of your mods. I think you are amazing!

Is there any way to configure Timber so that shift is needed for cutting down a whole tree, rather than needing shift to prevent all log blocks from breaking? My problem. I was editing a block on my house, which happened to be made out of a ton of logs. In fact most of it was logs. Anyways, I was trying to make a change, breaking a block, and by some freak amount of luck some tiny zombie ******* attacked me right as the block broke, and the knockback for some reason cancelled out the sneak mechanic cause my whole house to disintegrate. I'd much prefer having to hold the sneak button to activate the entire log break mechanic, rather than using it to prevent it.
on the very first three lines says

I would like to ask this guy if he could update Plasticraft, but only will do it if TehKrush expressly says he's not willing to do so any time in the future, if he gives his permission as original author and if he agrees with GotoLink's rules on updating mods, that are explicit in his topic. I'm only asking that because I really like plasticraft concepts and I would like to play with alongside the other mods I do use. I hope TehKrush would not be bothered with me asking this...

I'm having this minor issue with Forge Modloader saying something like there's a mismatched ID # 17 between the world and client or something like that. It asked me this right before I loaded up into the world, and it asked me if I wanted to continue anyway, to which I clicked yes. This "error" hasn't popped up ever since--I've read some other threads in other forums about this error, and in some cases it was just a little harmless warning, and in others, was a serious problem. I know that the Minecraft # 17 ID encompass all the wood blocks, and nothing seems to be wrong when I'm playin.. I just want to make sure, is this something I should be worried about?
can you make this mod compatible with tinkers construct and natura? I tried adding item id's to the list with axes that were from that mod, restarted minecraft and they didnt work. also could the trees from natura be added to the trees that get chopped down from the bottom trunk?

Is there a possibility to make Timber! to work with ExtraBiomesXL mod? I thought of adding ID numbers manually in the config file myself, but, there's no list of tree ID numbers.

Could you make it so people can add custom block id's in the config file for other blocks that should be considered leaves/wood? This would be very useful if you're playing with mods that add their own trees

I dragged all of the files in the .rar download into my .minecraft jar except the .txt file. All my other mods are working (Optifine etc.) just nort Timber! I am aware there is a toggle key (used to be v/x), but I tried all the keys and none seem to be the toggle switch. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
You have to put the zip file into your mods folder. Don't extract anything

I have to ask again since this is driving me crazy! I can't get used to pressing shift while chopping. I have destroyed so many blocks now...
Is there a way to invert it?
I want to use shift WHENEVER I REMEMBER! lol.. Instead of remembering to holding it down after my house is accidentally chopped down.

You need an axe, you can't just use your hand or any other item.
OT: I can't configure axes from simple ores and netherrocks to work in the config. I add their ID's but nothing happens in-game
Can it be changed ? Maybe in an ini?

There is no system but GNU, and Linux is one of its kernels.
Is this true? If so is there any mod similar to Timber that works in 1.6.4?
