-Added Hardcore mode. Default disabled. If hardcore mode is enabled, then when you die you lose your heart progress. You are reset to the starting hearts you have set (or the default) and have to work for the hearts again.

Yeah, the poll is really near 55%/45% so I'm not intending on changing it. I've recently made the rates lower, I just can't really test how good it is now.
No, the mod generates a default config file for you. The reason I have it there is so server owners can set their rules so everyone on the server follows it.
Finally!
It enables with defaults, IE RPG mode + Heart Item mods ENABLED, starting hearts = 10, max hearts = 30, a default level ramp etc...
everything can be changed in the configs though!

It can't be made out of the mods folder because it required base class edits- some of which conflict with MCPC. So sadly I can't do much unless I patch it, which will take time that I don't have. Unfortunate.
Awesome, I've just added hardcore mod (run the game once so the config file updates with the new hard core setting, then enable it, because it's default OFF). Let me know how you think!

It was a bit frustrating how Minecraft completely changed how textures worked so I had to fix that. Was a bit of a pain.
Not sure, have you tried the suggestion below? Have you tried installing more health last? Divine RPG might be overriding my classes or something.
The compatibility with advanced hud is a bit unusual. The bar doesn't grow when there is more health, it just counts for more health. So when ever your lose health, it would look like less of the bar is removed if you have 30 hearts then say 10 hearts. Of course making it like my mod would be up to the advanced hud modder. I've talked with him and I think he said he was looking into it for his heart texture hud option.
Uuuuuh, Am I missing the Mojang news? I mean, MC 1.5.2? Shouldn't it be MC 1.5.1?

So using the heart container does not give you any hearts? Does this also happen on a new world? Where you greeted with a message when you entered your world (some message about the mod)

I will copy config file way later tonight if that turns out to be deciding factor in what issue may be

Ahh, magic launcher. People that have used the mod told me that in order to get more health to work, you have to zip up the folder "add files to minecraft.jar" and rename it whatever you like (easiest something to do with more health) then add it like you would add any other magic launcher-compatible- mod. I think there should be a guide in the first post somewhere, check that if you have any issues.

Curse PremiumIt's kinda hidden, as it's located in a spoiler underneath the words "important instructions for any magic launcher users" but that itself is located in the spoiler titled "more health Information and old downloads"
java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: hpmax
That means you have another mod that is overriding a class I am using. It the EntityPlayer class, or in minecraft 1.5.1 the sq.class. Try looking for it, see if you can find the mod that causes this conflict.

Curse PremiumYeah, I have checked it. However, what it looks like to me (I don't have his source, I'm just looking at the messy class files)
It seems like all he is using the class for is to check if health is full- however he can do that easily w/o sq.class.
I will contact him and see if he uses the class for anything else. Well, either you can use his mod or mine as of now, but I believe if he fixes this problem he can drop use of the class and both our mods will work.

It should be fine just continue loading, I had that message too when I switched modID when testing.

Sigh, I've been using bit.ly on top of ad.fly because I think bit.ly provides better and more accurate stats tracking than ad.fly.
