EDIT: so through a very long process of trial and error, it seems like this mod has problems with CJB's modpack, without that mod everything works fine but with it i can see both rows of hearts but no matter what i do i can only get the first row to actually work. Sooo... yup yup

Do you use his hardcore mod? Try not using that mod as both seem to deal with the GUI area where the hearts are located. Just a quick glance at it though. I'm pretty busy but when I get the time I will look deeper into it.

nope, i use the item spawner, teleporter, x-ray, and minimap. other than that tho i have the others turned off. il see if i can find a way to maybe take our the hardcore mod completly from the modpack. maybe just turning off the settings doesnt completly fix the GUI problem. il look into it :smile.gif:
EDIT: found the problem, well the source of it anyways. taking mods out of the modpack one at a time to find the problem haha :tongue.gif: turns out that hardcore mode is fine. with it installed it works, currently the ONLY mod that i found that has problems with it is the cheats, idk why tho. but removing "mog_cjb_cheats.class" fixed the problem. so yea :smile.gif: not anything all that important but nice to have this mod and all the others i use in this pack.
Yeah, heres the error:
Basically, it says if health>20 (minecraft counts in half hearts), health=20. Basically this is the "off"mode for cheat mod: if you have cheat mod on, and set infinit health on, you have 9999 health. Otherwise, if it's off, it sets health to 20. This overrides my code setting your health above 20 health. Hope that explains it if you were wondering :biggrin.gif:
And good that you can! Most people won't be diligent enough to trial and error but that's what ppl have to do at times.

Not quite sure what to feel about this yet, it does look sleek but quite a few things have changes.
Anyways, the first post is kinda broken right now. Youtube links from the old forum aren't supported yet and the fonts are differently formatted. As for now I can't edit it as I get an odd message saying "sorry, but you have posted more media files than you are allowed to".
But I think these problems WILL get worked out, and big changes like theses won't come without problems.
No, you are not doing anything wrong, its actually a bug I overlooked! Thanks for pointing it out! I changed the code up a bit for this latest release making me over look this particular aspect, but I'm pretty sure I figure out what's wrong with the code already so all I have to do now is some testing and I will release an updated version tomorrow probably.

Yeah, the compatibility fix is quite old, I will need to back a new patch for flymod.
For compatibility sake, I have rewritten a lot of my code and thus removing the need to code the gh.class (entity player) for beta 1.5_01.(allowing compatibility with mods like zombe's fly mod) So i'm asking for a few testers to help me find all the bugs/mistakes that might be seen in the minecraft world. I can easily implement this into minecraft 1.6.5 later on.
Bare in mind I expect a bit of work from you guys.
You need to:
Create a new world, and change the slider options for starting health and max health(goal health).
Test if changing the slider options affect your hp (test by creating a fall or something)
Use food to see you dont heal passed your current max health (remember max health can only increase by using a heart container)
Search for dungeon (i recommend a invis texture pack to see the dungeons) and make sure:
every chest has 1,2, or 3 heart pieces and maybe a heart container.
Test the max health cap:
use heart containers until you hit the cap max health in the slider options you set (i recommend setting max health to 11, and use 2 heart containers to test if your health surpasses 11)
SAVE the game, close minecraft, then re open it and see if your health saves correctly.
