Very nice concept, but how exactly do I install it?
Usually what goes in the gui or item folders are in their own gui or item folder so you can drag them into their respective folder in the minecraft.jar, but these are in their own "Nandonalt" folder.
If I could get some assistance with this that'd be great, I'm really looking forward to making my cobblestone down in my mines into smoothstone for the looks of it.

Just discovered that the chisel transforms ANYTHING in smoothstone. Will fix it soon =)
Maybe you should make that as a separate mod. making smoothstone mod.
Also this is a suggestion not really required but is there a way to make the chisel look like its getting actually chiseled into the stone instead of slapping the stone? That way it looks more realistic
Aaaah, finally we can start in that desert biome when we spawn into a new world and find that the desert biome that we spawned into is huge and full of cactus and not a tree in sight.
When I get better at modding I might actualy make some notch tools and a notch block you could then build an entire notch house with notch doors. Maybe plant a notch tree which drops some notch apples.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Anything expressed above is purely my opinion, it may be right in some cases, it may be wrong in others.

I made a very dodgey diamond chisel that matches with the painterly pack diamond tools... my first custom skin ever... It doesn't look the best but atleast it matches with the painterly tools better...
Heh... feel free... To be honest I only did it because it looked weird having a normal diamond chisel in with the rest of the set... twas just a quick 5 minute job...
Nandonalt, your Cactus craft is definitely one of the most awesome mods out there. I haven't had a chance to experiment all that much with it, but it is definitely creates a good method to survive in the desert. I do have a few suggestions though, if you are taking feedback:
-Being able to use cactus sticks as fuel for the furnace. Perhaps a stick would last .55 the time of a single cactus block, so by converting all your cactus fuel to cactus stick fuel you'd gain 10% more time for the same amount of cactus.
-It would be nice to be able to make the cactus tools with regular sticks as well (if one desired). Although to save on ID space they should all be the same tool (as in, don't bother making a new icon with a wood stick - just make it turn into the tool with the cactus stick).
The Chisel
-What, exactly, is this tool for? It requires pretty good materials to have a decent number of uses. Once you have Iron and Diamond you should also have the ability to smelt some cobblestone (cheaper too) to fill holes in your *home*. I also found that often the mineral would slide into an adjacent block when chiseled, which would require me to break the block anyways. Would it be possible to program it so the mineral would always fly towards you (like the fishing rod)?
-You could make the tool more all-around useful and less of a niche by possibly having other features:
+ Chisel logs or wood planks for sticks.
+ Chisel obsidian to break it immediately (but lose the obsidian)
+ Increase the chance of getting double ore (otherwise might as well use a pickaxe)
+ Chisel leather off a cow (lol)
+ For a more combat-oriented purpose, you could make an enemy drop something that they naturally drop (Chisel a creeper - free gunpowder!) It could perhaps hurt them 1/4 of a sword strike.
+ Chisel a pumpkin (Or CACTUS!) to pick it up immediately (its kind of hard to pick up pumpkins quickly)
+ Chisel gravel (which pops the gravel) to get instant flint (with a chance to get 2 flint)
I'm sure I can think of other things, but I have just splurged and installed about 10 new mods and I am drooling all over them. Must continue playing!
Nice Butter Churn mod. Although I find the Cheese part odd. How about a new block type for aging milk? Kinda like the churning block you have. You pour the milk in and wait for 3 days, then you get cheese. Or, you could just change how the churning block works a bit to work with the cheese aging-thing.

Yeah, I was thinking about that.
Will see what i can do

Will be using Butter and/or Cheese on my future mods.
I suck, I'm going to have to catch up on the latest fad, block making with More IDs!
1. Could you make it so that it will either come out with butter OR cheese?
2. Could you make it more stackables compatible?
I'm not going to update/make more mods until the next MC version.
Then you mix it, and, yeah...
I decided to revert back to eggs because they are somewhat rare, and bowls you can make with 3 wood :tongue.gif:
