I'd like to use this with my old world. Is there a chance this can break my game? Also, when 1.5 comes out will I be unable to play my save game or can I simply keep playing but the mobs and items will be gone?

In 1.4_01 Notch introduced a feature, in order to safely get rid of the April Fools chest, making it so if a block/item id does not exist any longer then the block/item is deleted from the world, preventing any crashes. So yes, your world is still safe. BUT BEWARE this algorithm does not check chests so if you have any Guard Helms or Summoning Staffs in any chest, please empty them and dump them into a lava pit if you can (they'll get destroyed anyway after 1.5).

The first 2 goblins I killed I got 3 chainmail helmets out of it. This seems a little TOO easy. Maybe you could make it so there's a 50/50 chance that they'll drop just 1 helmet and nothing more?
My other gripe would be the guards. I've already seen a bunch of these guys wandering around. IMO it would be better if they only appeared very rarely, or only when they are summoned by the player.
And my last would be the spawn rates. I made it on top of a mountain and there were 6+ wizards in the one area. Orcs and Goblins are good though and I don't mind seeing a bunch of them around. But with the wizard I expected them to be a little rarer and more of a challenge.
EDIT: Just stepped out of my house and I was ambushed by 3 dwarfs... that was epic !

Why in the world would i make guards spawn naturally? Did you bother to look at the pictures? Please do so in the future, if you come with this kind of attitude to a different mod post, the author may take it very harshly.

It's not my problem that you can't tell the difference between red and grey, I even tried being helpful and wrote a quick guide on how to tell the difference between red and grey for you on the orginal post. Hopefully that will help people like you.

All I was saying is that the friendly soldier mobs outside of my fences were spawning a little too much. Yeah, I called him a Guard but who cares? I still meant to say they spawn too often whether they really are knights or not. My point was that "There are too many friendly mobs".

It's annoying. This mostly happens when they level up, and the only solution is killing them, or rejoining game.
When you rejoin, all guards dissapear. Is that a bug?
Oh, also, I fail at moding, could you please shoe me or link me a video tutorial of installing sounds?
And, there's a bug with guard positions, if you have a guard in a position (gold bar), attack any other, and come back to the guard position, he will be still guarding, but will hit you if you touch him.
Oh, did you planed adding an alternate staff that summons a slow and weak, but aroow shoting guard? That could be awesome for my army attacking hand made enemy forts.

Hmmmm... this is indeed rather odd, I myself am not experiencing any lag issues with the guards. Could I get some more info: pc specs, error report of there is one, cpu usage? Also, the test Dehrunes Magon lags very much so if you spawn one of those of course it will lag. I'd very much like to get this problem resolved asap, I don't like the fact that poor minecrafters are suffering lag under the circumstances of my mod.
Awesome! Can you post a banner, so I can support this mod? It would be greatly appreciated. Also, as a request for a new mob: Angels & Demons. They have wings and fly. Angels shoot this light ball thing that blinds mobs. Angels are natural protectors, so they will follow you for a short area, then return to where they were (Not on a one block, but as a sector sort of thing.) Demons spawn near lava, when there is no other light but lava. (If this cannot be done, then they spawn in caves and work their way to the surface quickly... If THAT cannot be done, they spawn on the beach, on sand, when it is dark.) and will attack on sight. They shoot fireballs and have awesome claws. If you think this idea is good, then message me, or add me on steam/skype "TheMarxman47" and I can tell you the rest of the details... If not, then okay. I honestly don't expect it to get anywhere, but a man can try, can't he?

I'm getting Heavy lag too when i summon guards too My CP specs are 8 Gigabytes of Ram, AMD Athlon 2.8GHz, and a ATI Radeon HD 4200. I'll post a video of the lag soon too
Well after many tests, I only lagged when I made about 200 in a spam summon, no lag, it must be a conflicting mod then.
*wipes sweat* thank you good user, I was getting worried that i was the only person not experiencing lag. Conflicting mod hmmmm, I think so too.
To all people experiencing lag when spawning a guard with this mod, may you please take a minute and post your loaded mods too? I'll see which mods are in common and contact the author for more info. Thank you!
