Is the new 1.5.2 update that just came out effecting the mod at all?

This might be because of the new launcher. It doesn't let you play minecraft beta no more ;(

I wouldn't be too sure about that. Right now it seems the new launcher will only support version 1.5.1 and above so you might not be able to revert back to Beta versions with it but then again, it's still in early development so it could still get implemented.

Do what I do, go on youtube and look for a vid that gives u their acualy .jar folder and replace it with the one you have now.

Yes this is not dead. This has been one of my favorite mods since beta 1.5 i think.

wow its takes a long time you should have more people help you out!!

I'm glad to hear it is going to be updated, it was one of my favorite mods. But some flavor of progress report would be nice, even if you just showed some random line of code, but it isn't required so, do as ya please.

I am SOOOOOOO Excited STILLLL!!! but until the update, defiantly going to look into a youtube video with old minecraft versions on it :D!

I've been following the updates on the release of this since 1.2.5. I heard the problem with updating was something with Fork on Forge or something, but can't remember now.


Either way, I've waited this long patiently, and I'm pretty sure we can all wait a bit longer Keep doing what you do freak.

With all this complaining of it being updated, You might as well all spam for a "THE TEST OF TIME" Challenge.
If ONE thread contains a challenge telling a mod creator to downgrade as far as they can in versions, i'll go mad with insanity.
If you want to still be a ass about updates, walk in the shoes of the modder him/herself first.
Things like buildcraft and IC2 are group mods. This mod is a one man project (as far as i know.) And I'm baffled myself on how he got so much stuff done over the course of the beginning, while having to rewrite the code over and over again so that java itself would not act up about not having all the blocks it has right now not added in. Try this for me: Delete one mob class from the game, and tell me how it acts out.
-Minecraft will crash because there's so many references to this mob yet it doesn't exist.

Working this weekend on the mod - hopefully I will make some good progress...
