Hey freakstritch, I just wanted to tell you I really love this mod, it's really awesome. Take your time on this, as a good mod is a stable, glitch-less mod. I was just curious if you could estimate your progress. Do you think you're 50% done?
One of the best mods ever, still waiting on update to 1.4.5. Was just going to suggest creating a mob that's like the snake from the game "snake" that'll attack anything it sees and grows longer and stronger, with more/better drops, for each kill o3o.

Obviously you guys don't know how this works because he can't just do this over night. Also since he is making everything SMP compatible it isn't a walk in the park it takes time and it doesn't help that minecraft keeps updating. When Freakstritch is done you will know quit badgering him till then.
Hey Freakstritch just wanted to say that your mod is awesome!!! Scripting is amazing, the artwork is great and the overall flow of the mod is spectacular!! Don't feel rushed about updating the mod. Take as much time as you need and I know you'll continue to do great things!!

i'm getting worried about this mod, is it dead? because this was my favorite mod i always Minecraft with it ALWAYS.
No, it isnt dead, and it wont be dead for a long time, as Freak has said, its been slow because he has things interfering with eachother as he has to make it all multiplayer since thats how singleplayer is now. Just calm yourselves down. it will be done, it just takes time. Like growing a beard, or losing weight, or even making money, unless you rob a ban k, but even that, you do the time afterwards
I really hope this thread gets locked soon to stop so many people ing and whining about an update, it will happen when it happens, IF it happens; simple as that. Won't be finished any quicker just because you keep complaining.
i know, is like they are spoiled. All i can say is this, best of luck Freak. It must be a pain since you have to convert everything multi-player, and getting free time, cause i only know what you do, lol. Most people don't consider that. Its like they think updating is as quick as opening google.
The Aether is a huge collaboration by multiple modders, and it's very unlikely they will update until the modding API comes out. Considering how Freak has to convert More Creeps to multiplayer, then the Aether would require the same, which would be incredibly time consuming, because of how large the mod is. It got locked because people would constantly demand an update, which was pretty much impossible to do because the mod would need to be transferred back and forth between the different modders, and the mod is so big. The person who suggest this one be locked as well, is saying that for nearly the same reason. The modders who make and update all the mods on the forums don't do it as a job, but rather as a hobby. If a modder just simply doesn't have enough time, then it would obviously take a lot longer to update. More Creeps isn't as large as the Aether, but it is still pretty big, so for one person to convert everything into multiplayer, well... that's frickin' hard, extremely time consuming, and probably a pain in the butt because Freak hasn't done any multiplayer mods before.
