i've found it to be very annoying when you have a guinea pig following you, and then he abruptly stops, and you have to walk back a few blocks to get him to follow you again. also, guinea pigs seem to be unable to go through doors. guinea pigs also drown very easily in water holes. and finally, when a guinea pig is following you and then you want to stop, the guinea pig just pushes you around.
i came up with some(unrelated to the above paragraph)suggestions. i think we should be able to change the armor and take off the armor on our guinea pigs, but along with this, when a guinea pig is wearing armor, their speed is slowed down by a certain percentage. also, i don't think guinea pigs should drop pork, instead maybe wheat, seeds, flowers, mushrooms, or even carrot seeds? and maybe we would be able to grow carrots similar to wheat, and carrots would be a food source!
oh, another suggestion, maybe we could be able to put a single guinea pig on our heads, similar to the bunnies mod. or maybe even the ability to right click with your fist on a single tame guinea pig to put it into your inventory. this way we would be able to ride in boats, minecarts, and on horses without leaving our guinea pigs behind.
i don't have much for snow devils, because i've only found one in the wild, and my guinea pig killed it as soon as he saw it. but maybe you could make certain devils for certain biomes, such as desert devils, dirt devils, aqua dogs, devil dogs. you know, biome-specific devils! dirt devils spawn on grass, aqua dogs can only survive in water, and devil dogs spawn in the nether. this way we would be able to tame our own little devil zoo!
Downloaded the mod and of course i think i did everything right, but all the mobs are invisible...They can push me, kill me and make sounds but i cant see them. Wtf?

sorry for this wall of text.
Guinea Pigs have a range of 16 blocks - when you go beyond that, they will not be able to locate you and follow you until you step back into their zone. Your complaint about guinea pigs following you is in opposition to your suggestion that they slow down when wearing armor. That would make it annoying to have to wait for slow pigs.
I want to know why you would want to take off the armor? What purpose would that serve?
However, I want you to carry your pigs by stacking them on your head - this would alleviate two problems. One - the limited range of the pigs and two - carrying them through doors.
My new creep is desert dwelling and will only spawn on sand - I want to keep the SnowDevils in the snow, and in the next release there are more of them, but they are relegated to snow biomes.

You do not have textures installed correctly - they must be in mob/creeps/ directory in your minecraft.jar
i want a guinea pig but i try to tame one but i just eat the wheat/apple or hit it with wheat/apple help!
It takes a lot of wheat to tame them and about two or three apples. Sometimes you eat the apples even though your health is full - an annoying bug in minecraft.
In the update, there is a smoke effect to indicate that you have indeed fed your pigs the wheat or apples.
And I will make it so that golden apples tame them instantly.
I Made a banner for this mod! took the logo, resized it, and made it link to this fourm. Is that okay?
That's ok, but let me give you a better one... hold on. Ok, here you go! Thanks for promoting this mod - the more suggestions and support, the better the mod gets.
when i install mo creatures, the game breaks
do you know why?
Did you ask in the MoCreatures thread? This is for More Creeps and Weirdos!
Can't help unless you can provide at least the minimum amount of details.. This mod works with everything and doesn't step on anybody's toes. I run MoCreatures- the gold standard- with this mod with no problems. In fact, I have adjusted my spawns to spawn less than MoCreatures, so you will see much more of them than my creeps.
Version 1.1 has been posted with the following changes...
I didn't post a TFC version because I am unsure of what to include? Everything that the mod needs, or just this mod? Hmmm...
*** DESERT LIZARDS ***
Creeping around in the hot sun, these rowdy reptiles are always looking for a little something to munch on. Are you a little something? They shoot mini fireballs at a distance, and leap on you when close.
v1.1
----
Added five varieties of Desert Lizards who are always on the lookout for a snack - YOU!
Guinea Pigs now keep their armor when reloading
Guinea Pig lag reduced. Tested to 20 tamed pigs
Guinea Pigs are now tamed instantly with Golden Apples
Added sound for equiping Guinea Pigs with armor
Added smoke effect for feeding, taming and armor
Added more Guinea Pig sounds for variety
Adjusted spawning of SnowDevils
Adjusted SnowDevil drops - random mostly snow and a few ice
Fixed SnowDevil sounds not playing
LOVE the desert lizards, definitely going to add them along with the guinea pigs I've already added from this mod.
You should keep heading in this direction with your mod. :biggrin.gif:

Thanks - I have to try many things before Notch breaks my mod again. So the next two creeps are something totally different. If you like the animal creeps, then that is number four after the rock daddy. Patience! I am working on this mod as much as I can, but real life assignments don't permit the bucket of hours I would like to spend on it...

ah, sorry, forget about the suggestion of them slowing down with armor, i wasn't even thinking about the consequences of the idea.
but the reason i wanted to take off their armor is because i think they look a lot nicer without the armor on.
but after typing this reply, i came up with an alternate idea; armor durability. after an equipped guinea pig takes a certain amount of hits without dying, the armor on the guinea pig would break(maybe a sound would go off so you would know that it broke, or is close to breaking), and would require you to re-equip a new set of armor. but of course the same principals would apply with armor on guinea pigs as they do with armor on the character, for example diamond armor would last longer than leather armor. this idea would add more challenge to the guinea pig armies, and it would also make it a lot harder to maintain one.
