I'm a having an amusing bug as well. I have Better Light and Grass installed, and I installed the version of this mod that works with it. I have grass growing, and I am getting the grass texture on the sides of blocks like I'm supposed to, but the grass texture is the neutral gray color rather than the color of any grass blocks.
Have I done something wrong, or is this a bug?
Edit: The problem fixed itself once I edited my texture pack. I'm all good now. Still, is curious that it happened on the default pack...

are you sure your using the Better grass version and not the better light ONLY version?
I did check the server without bukkit, it worked without it, no problems except the problem, that the grass block with hoe doesn't drop seeds!
P.S. The grass stays fine with buckit enabled after it grew when i started the vanilla server, but it doesn't grow bigger and the grass blocks don't generate new grass textures, which means that with Bukkit this mod doesn't grow the grass and when I placed a flower in water, it did made the Lilly Pad (with no flower on top)
Yes, I forgot to include the catch where if its multiplayer it won't do the functions. I think they lily pad may stay for a while, but it will disappear after a while.

we can no longer plant saplings and wheat, they just disappear or pop back out.
I haven't experienced this in any of my testing.... not sure what is causing this for you....

*update* server we are running has not been previously modded, nor is it running mods, when i plant sapling, they just pop back out after 20-30 seconds, as for wheat, it disappeared the first time we ran the server with the mod, then had to replant it and some of it disappeared, so im not sure whats going on :S
wildgrass on server is not working.... i put the three class files in the minecraft_server.jar file, is it correct?
btw im using craftbukkit.
I have no clue what craftbukkit is. Try it without it. It will work. It may also be because you don't have the client version installed on your client?
I had the same problem when I installed v8.2, all my crops disappeared except for one which hadn't grown fully yet. I did notice two things though. One, the crops completely deleted themselves, so they were absolutely gone and I had to replant them, and two, I noticed when the crops get to the third stage of growth, that's when they vanished.

UPDATE 8.3minor bug fixes
Ok, i'm pretty sure I solved the problem. I had to make sure to tell the flowers to only run my code when they were red and yellow, not mushrooms, crops, or saplings. That should have done it.
I also made a few minor tweaks on how grass grows. Added some multi player checks so the code wont mess things up if the server does not have the mod.
Dilla, did it just happen on loading? do newly planted crops appear ok? was it just that they were destroyed, or are they invisible?

First for you question, they are not invisible, they are destroyed. It does not only happen on loading, wewly planted crops are getting destroyed after a while also.
My testing have shown, that it is somewhat related to the qg.class

That is exactly what is happening to me also.

For anyone having issues where any strange blocks are showing up on top of the grass blocks other than wildgrass, you're probably using a custom texture pack. Switch it back to the default texture pack or edit the wildgrass/lilies in yourself.
Some of my plants (grass) are minecart tracks and my water lilys are gray blocks i am using johnsmiths Texture pack with them how can i fix them ????
the lilies being gray blocks is because JohnSmith hasn't updated his texture pack to include lily pads yet. As far as minecart tracks, I suspect you are using an older version, as there used to be a bug. If you use 8.5 I doubt you will see those tracks.

p.s. I have the same trouble with CraftBukkit server mod, I'm usimg it instead of hey0 because it outdated. The problem is that CraftBukkit dosnt using minecraft_server.jar. So, I think someone must develop plugin for this mod to support WildGrass. I'm not good in modmaking but worked with java code. Anyway I couldn't manage with this alone. And how do you keep information about grass height without adding new blocks in the game?
I don't know what to tell you. I guess they are not compatible. I'm sorry. Please, people don't post your pictures or problems with incompatibilities with other mods, It seems that is all i'm seeing lately.
Then why not consider TehKrush's suggestion and opt to improve compatibility with other mods? The version I had working flawlessly with everything else was v6 if I remember right, but now your great mod is the only one I can't use.

Omg.... There is so many mods that this dossent work together with.... I dont want the gass to show up as some block man.... You need to fix it!

I found a bug in 8.4 that didnt let lily pads get planted, if that was the version you were using, it is fixed in 8.5 now.
