I tried putting the worldedit.jar into the bin, and no luck. I went back and tested SPC by manually installing it into a fresh .jar file and running Minecraft without Magic Launcher, and while Minecraft loads, the sounds are not present and the mod doesn't appear to exist. Am I installing it wrong? I put the "com" folder into the jar and also those two other .class files that are present in the ZIP file. I deleted META-INF also.
What am I doing wrong? I love SPC and it sucks not being able to use it!
Could I get some help from the mod maker? Thanks muchly in advance!
Everything except worldedit and the readme in the MC.jar. There is.was some discussion about merging the .com file not replacing but mine works so I paid no attention. Try a search (my signature) for com.
Copy everything (*.minecraft) to a new folder, delete everything in *.minecraft (you'll need user name and password) and open MC. SPC first and test it
1.3 ruined my life as a minecraftian! I can't use SPC at all because the mod has some glitches on 1.3 and when I go back to 1.2.5 the glitches don't go away. It is like something in the game is causing the new update's problems to not be solved by switching back. Maybe 1.3 added something that can't be changed by changing the jar. Anyone else have the problem?
UPDATE: Looks as if my theory is correct. I downgraded to 1.2.4 and got the same problems.
Something was added to MC, start fresh, Read the bottom part of the above post. You can copy your existing worlds back once you've solved your problem.
Experience has taught me to copy my current world every time it successfully opens (overwrite old). More than once this almost current world has saved me from ruin! I only lose my last session not an entire world!!!
When you use a super flat seed on creative and then use the /Brush Sphere Sand 6 command does all the sand fall through the world for you? I am having that problem. I just tried it on a regular seed and didn't have the problem, but what I don't get is why can Jamziboy do a tutorial in 1.2.5 on a flat seed using /Brush Sphere Sand 6 and have no problems yet I downgrade and have the problem?
There is an extensive discussion of this... Your brush is to big! Use my signature and do search or two, you'll find it.
Eh the Halloween update is coming up idk if they will change the codes but ik they are putting new stuff in so i hope 4.2 comes out before that update because they could change some things but idk... So, I'm just hoping they don't so we can get that update of 4.2

you will probably find that your brush settings have been altered differently in comparison to that on the tutorial you spoke of. ie. you may have set your brush to indent the material by x blocks. i found by turning off the gravity brush, the chance of this happening is less likely. or you can just change your parameters of which ever brush command you are using. oh and btw...this is totally off topic to this forum thread lol

Not really, this is the official spc forum thread. So if you are having glitches, don't know what to do, etc. Than you ask here. Where else would he ask it? The pm system is useless in this case, because only one person can answer him instead of everyone.
I have a small question, is this mod just a bit buggy at times? Because I noticed when doing things like expand or generate, sometimes it won't generate the first time, and in order for it to work I have to enter the command twice and then do //set to set it as the same block as before. Also a lot of the commands instantly crash when binded to anything, I was just wondering if any of this was just because the mod has a few bugs here and there, or if it's something with my minecraft or my installation of the mod?
I was wondering if you could add a ban command to this mod for LAN servers? I play on a LAN server at my school during lunchtime with my friends but an annoying hacker keeps joining and I would be so very appreciative of having the ability to ban him.
-Thanks for reading
I knew I'd seen something!
In my *\.minecraft\saves is a banned-players.txt. I won't test, but maybe you should.

Thanks, I will do what you said. But I have a question. If I am going back to 1.2.5 then how would deleting .Minecraft work unless I replaced it with another .Minecraft from 1.2.5? We will see, I was able to find a fresh 1.2.5 DMG installer for my Mac, I will try it out and see what happens. But in case it doesn't work that is why I am asking lol.

Macs aren't my cup of tea! Maybe SKMCLauncher, it has Mac capability. Macs and the merge .com are required if my memory is correct!
To answer your question, many mods add folders and files not a normal part of MC. Neither MC's Update nor Force update removes these folders (old Mods in mods folder either). When I have problems, I start with a completely new .minecraft and rebuild one Mod at a time. As long as you have a copy of your current MC, it's fairly easy to add (copy not move) components as the need arises.
Lou
When you open MC with the *\.minecraft folder empty it will rebuild everything to a fresh, unmodified 1.3.2.
Backdate from there and all the old garbage is gone.

Try using MultiMC, it has a mac client and it now includes a built in version downgrader ( MCNostalgia )

Okay but here is the thing I don't get though. I completely deleted my .Minecraft and then redid everything, but why is it then on 1.2.5 still when I use the 6 brush it messes up the world? I used to be able to do it all the time in 1.2.5 before I upgraded, now I am in 1.2.5 again and it is all of a sudden different. Like I mentioned in one of Jamizboy's more recent tutorials(where he also uses 1.2.5) it still messes up the world? Why would it all of a sudden change? Anyways I will check out the previous posts you mentioned about it. Thanks for the help so far.

I just tried using the brush for sand on 1.2.5 with brush sizes 1-6. Brush size 1 and 2 are the only ones that don't make the sand fall through the grass and cause a hole in the world. It kinda defeats the purpose of the brush if I can't have giant ones to make islands and mountains. I'm still very confused on why no matter what I do(I made sure to do a very thorough cleaning of files) it still does this.

Try some older versions of WorldEdit. Brushes are actually a part of that. If you delete the WE in your \bin and install the 1.2.5 version of SPC with that version of WE it might fix your problem.
Lou
I'm certain there is discussion about your exact problem and a work around/fix lately! I don't have the problem, and am not going to look for it, but if the old WE doesn't work, it might be worth your time to look.
no FLY command ???
anyone call tell me please why does my minecraft doesnot have that command?
no biomeinfo because of this error java.lang.NullPointerException:null can anyone help
i get the felling that almost none of the commands work. And i dont know if this was ever posted.
Have you read page 1 lately? I guarantee it's there!!!

Because you can double-tap jump to fly, and type /fly in the commands.
