I'm not sure where to report this but I found a major bug with the //brush comand from WorldEdit. Most of the blocks won't create spheres, cylinders, etc. unless the block you're pointing at has a black outline from mouse (when you'rre really close). However, I think cobblestone works but it's out of sync as it creates the sphere like a little ways from where I'm pointing.
Um, I kept trying to download it with the automated version, but it wouldent work? I kept trying to find the .jar file... but there was none? :ohmy.gif:
Well it seems the chat window does not open anyway... I did step by step what instructions said, I opened a saved world, SPC welcome message appeared, press "t" and.... NOTHING :/
help?

It should be in the download file, if not try redownloading and save as not only save

Currently brushes only work within player's reach.
As a workaround, you can extend the reach with the /reach command. /reach 20 is the range I use.
I've bound two keys with "Time Day" and "Time Night".
Hitting the Day Key set's the time to 0:00
Hitting the Night Key immediately after the Day Key sets the time to 7:00 (noon), however, the chat will still say the time was set to "13:00."
Hitting the Night Key again will set the time to 'real' 13:00.
I'm going to try to bind other keys but I have a feeling this isn't going to change the problem.

Thanks, I was thinking of continuing, but it's a bit of work thinking of an idea which fits within 20 mins of footage which is also quite interesting (longer than 20 mins would be too boring..)
I recorded a video of me updating SPC between 1.0 and 1.1 - haven't released it, would that be interesting? It's about 25 mins from memory.
I think you should upload it, I really enjoy looking at people coding, I am trying to learn, and watching you code in those two episodes has actually helped me quite a bit :] And I don't think it would get boring if it was over 25 mins, but thats just me :]
I saw someone posted this before, world edit is not at all working with spc for me also... I installed everything correctly, there are no problems besides the world edit commands being recognized. I also updated the world edit version, nothing happened.
Manual installation? Where did you put WorldEdit.jar? It's in the installation instructions and has been answered to DEATH!!! Try the search before screaming help please.

Thanks for that lou, I barely get around to looking at this thread let alone others...
As for the reply, there are things that forge can do (and should probably do) - but I guess they don't want to do them. Last I checked they add hooks to core methods with their own implementations (which is fine) but don't do callbacks to the original.
Sounds like I'll have to rewrite the instant mine code, I doubt it will end up being as nice as it currently is though.
Anyways, I'll message him when I get some time up my sleeve to do some modding

If I were you I'd spend a few minutes texting with who they suggested. What you and they do is not something I fully grasp, but perhaps the Gent named can offer some alternatives. Together you might arrive at a mutually beneficial solution.

If my memory is correct this didn't occur until 1.8...

simo, i forgot to tell you that i cant open world edit, it takes me to explorer when i open it. then it opens a veiw downloads page and asks whether i want to open or save. when i open it, the window closes and nothing happens. when i save it, it says to open or close. after i opened it, it added another file thats the same thing! why does this happen? and is it because im on windows? please help! this doesnt make any sense!
EDIT: ok, now i understand world edit better, but i dont know how to get it going. please help!
Having an issue with enchanting working with V3.1 [1.1.0] SPC. When an item is placed in the enchanting slot nothing comes up regardless of what it is. I deleted the bin file and tried reinstalling with no other mods or texture packs and it still has the same effect. Without SPC it works fine so idk if this is an isolated incident or not, but thought I should mention it :smile.gif:

Put WorldEdit.jar into .minecraft/bin
Then read the worldedit guide, //pos1 //pos2 //set 1 will get you started

I'll take a look later, have you had any other mods previously installed?
I had a quick look and couldn't reproduce this... any more information you can provide?

You didn't do everything correctly then. Put WorldEdit.jar into .minecraft/bin
