I don't know what's going on with this mod. I've put all the .class files into the minecraft.jar, but the instructions are telling me about other jar files that I didn't get with the download and the instructions completely fail to mention what I do with the "1 File" file. WTF? :huh.gif: Everytime I try to fix it, it black screens at login.
Nothing of consequence is coming up in the error logs either, it doesn't mention SPC at all actually.

I downloaded using the preferred link btw, so you may wanna check on that.
Just to be clear, all there was in the jar file, was 21 class files, a read me and a weird file I have no idea where to put. (Besides the recycling bin. :happy.gif: )
Just went reading the read me file again. Is the preferred download up to date? The read me file says it's for MC 1.7.3.
All except two items are *.class files and go in the minecraft.jar.
One is a readme.txt (did you?) and can be deleted once completed.
The last is WorldEdit.jar - if you put it in the jar that's why it doesn't work! It belongs in the minecraft/bin directory.
Lou
We buy them books, send them to school, and they eat the teacher!
Someone didn't read before posting!!!
Look closer there is one .jar file (WorldEdit.jar) it replaces one already in the bin folder.

That someone was you. I had already stated that there were no other jar files and one other file that had been paid no mind in the instructions.
I fixed this problem myself through using one of the other links, within I did find said jar file and the mod is now working perfectly.
I have been using this mod for a while and know all about where to shove the jar file. Bend over. :wink.gif:
If you talk like an idiot, expect to be treated like one. Lorams post could have been avoided had you mentioned what that "weird file I don't know what to do with" actually is. Yknow, actually say what it's called. And the file extension.
The weird file is named SPC 1.8.1 (Despite the version in the read me saying it's 1.7.3) the extension is "1 File". It proved I had no use for this file when I used a different link and it wasn't in the download of the version that worked.
Admittedly I should have had the foresight to include the name, but being confused by strange mod components and unexplained errors causing black screen tends to make one talk with a little less clarity.
With worldEdit the damage values of blocks don't work.
For example I am building a roof with stairs and I put //set 109:2 so the stairs are rotated the position of just 109, but the damage value doesn't do anything and sets the blocks to 109 instead of 109:2
I tried with other things too, and the damage value still doesnt work for other blocks.
Interesting bug I found, if you turn on fly at a given speed, then turn noclip on and back off, you will not fly, but still be able to run at the speed and jump very high based on the speed. Also, when I turned fly back off, I still ran fast and jumped high. Exiting and reentering did not appear to fix the problem.
/setjump & /setspeed.

The second video here is one of the best I've seen Atta Boy.
There is also a command list here. These 2 things will answer almost any question you can imagine.
What happened to the keycode list for the /bindid function that iEpicx had contributed?
It had almost every key's id on it. An example would be the Tilde [~] key being 41, Trunksbomb's pic doesn't list that, or other's that I used to use. The current one doesn't list any of the other keys and skips a whole bunch. I found iEpicx's to be a lot more useful
.
If anyone has it could they post it please?

It amazes me how many don't/won't take 2 minutes to read what has already been posted and how many think we can reach through the monitor, lift the top of their skulls and see what they are thinking.
In your particular case I'd have to reach into your rectum to remove the top of your head.

I think this question would be more appropriate here: WorldEdit Forum. Probably more apt to get an answer too.

It would be epic though. :happy.gif: I prefer SPC's codes. They're much more user-friendly and don't get cranky if you forget the "/". :smile.gif:
I like it too, it actually has a fly command that is useful. So tired of those plugins that require you to either hold an item to use them (thus rendering it impossible to use it to build) or make you move constantly unless you land (also making it impossible to build stuff high up).
Help! I am trying to install single player commands for beta 1.7.3 on mac, and whenever I try to open the setup file it just shows a bunch of text from the file. How do I get the file to work?

Did you see and READ this? There are manual instructions toward the bottom. I don't think the automated install was applicable to 1.7.3.

I've done some more checking and I think when "/world backup" is typed it performs "/world save" instead. Are you missing a small piece of code?

Wow.. that was an oversight. Sorry. I commented out some code ages ago to test something and forgot to enable it again.

Not a problem. If the largest error I ever committed was this small I'd be considered for sainthood. Glad to be of service!
Should the backup file be named "backup" or "backups"?
Lou
Have you talked with Ms El about "instantmine"?
just got a quick question here dose this work with 1.9.5? sorry if i sound dumb but im a big fan of spc and i wanna know if it works with 1.9.5 pre-release
