Alright so the latest test version you put out i installed and there are a lot of bugs i saw from the get go.
1. Player arm seems to be out of the picture
2. Swinging your arm as no animation (Instant swing flash)
3. //wand works but the wooden axe does not show and cannot select positions
thanks for the preview :smile.gif:
quick question: this "buggyness" only affects the look, control etc. of the game, right? so theoretically is shouldn't destroy my save-files. or...?
Yes its only the looks of some things, and also a few workedit commands do not seem to work properly, but it wont affect your save files.
I'm already working with it for 2 hours now and have not had any issues.
Creeper: That'ssssssssssss a nice houssssssssssssssssse you have there... It would be a ssssssssssssssshame if sssssssssssomeone blew it up...sssssssss You: WTF-BOOM!
If I want to use the new blocks in 1.8 like 98:1 or 98:2 which is stone brick or mossy stone brick.
What command do I have to use now to get it working? I've already tried "//set 98:2" or "//set 98-2" but none of both seem to be recognized, is there any way how to get the mossy cobblestone at all?
I've been playing around with the newest dev release of this in 1.8, and I noticed killall is broken when I tried to use it. The message "killed x mob" comes up, but no mob actually dies. The models of nearly every mob are also completely screwed up but I believe that this was known already.
The 'noclip' command activates properly, except when you go through material and come out the other side, it:
A ) increases hunger dramatically, making your bar run out quickly
B ) puts you back in the material you tried to get through, causing you to be crushed
I'm getting this strange graphical error where a single chunk has a bunch of black bars. http://i.imgur.com/jubn1.png
There is also a strange black and red striped bar in my inventory, and it seems to be right behind Steve's right hand, which is invisible. http://i.imgur.com/PEsGU.png
Oh, and pressing shift while flying doesn't drop you.
You probably already know about these, but just in case:
1: When submerged in lava with /damage turned off, the player's screen vibrates rapidly as if taking severe damage several times per second
2: /ext doesn't seem to extinguish the player
Still, two very minor bugs and since it's a test version, it's to be expected; keep up the great work!
People like you should start reading a bit more than just the first post of a thread, then they'd realize that there's already a buggy version online to download, with everything working needed for worldediting.
Hey buddy you dont need to get all pissy with me aight.
That java issue is actually happening for a lot of people since the release of 1.8.
It's a bug in Minecraft, not SPC, which forces java to use too much memory and crash. There'll be a fix in 1.9 ^.^
Must be something combined with the mods, because thats the first time thats happend to me in 1.8. SPC is the only mod I have messed with in 1.8 :unsure.gif:
GAH! I wish people would just READ the first post and the last 2-3 pages before posting a question that has been asked and answered at least a dozen times already. If they'd read, they'd know that simo is already working on it as best he can, and it'll be done when it's done!
The /freezecam, /freecam, and /freeze makes MineCraft crash everytime. That's the only bug I've had crash my game so far. But thanks for the DEV version!
Everyone annoyed with "when you gonna update to 1.8" now you know how parents feel when kids say "Are we there yet?" =P

Chuck Norris clicked this. Clicking it causes you to do what he did. Be like Chuck Norris.

Yes, thank you Simo.
How many of you clamoring for an update have even donated to him for this awesome mod?
I have, and I haven't even used it yet, since I only found it after the 1.8 update.
