Not sure if anyone will see this, but I registered on this website only because I've been using this mod for a while and I want to say THANK YOU! It's made building/having fun much easier! Again THANK YOU!
I followed the directions completely but don't get the welcoming sign when I enter a world. Also, the console chat window won't open. I went back and redid everything, again following the directions, and got the same results. I'm running Windows 7. Are there specific class files that need to be replaced with the mod class files or do I just put them in the main jar file window? Also, I couldn't find a way to edit the jar file by itself(I tried 7zip) so I converted it to a zip file and then back to a jar file. Any help would be appreciated.
That's an awesome picture! Hopefully it gets featured.

Is there anyway to control what the monster spawner spawns and how do you spawn a skeleton-mounted spider?
Funny that you ask! I made a plugin that does just that- it's called Mob Spawner, and it's in the first post in the Plugins section. Plugins go into minecraft.jar just like all the other class files.
And for things riding things: spawnstack mob mob mob.. Any mob can ride any other mob. So for a spider jockey, it's spawnstack spider skeleton. Now, I'm not sure on the order, but you can figure that out. You could even do spawnstack pig pig pig pig pig pig to have a pig riding a pig riding a pig riding a pig.. riding a pig. :biggrin.gif:

Greetings.
As per the instructions in the opening post, I installed the 1.4_01 version of this commands mod. I installed it to a vanilla version of Minecraft 1.4_01 BETA and run no other mods.
Now a small issue has come to my attention, and I seek counsel. When I use a wooden axe on any object, I receive a string of text in the chat window automatically. If I left-click an object (a patch of dirt, for this example) while the wooden axe is active, I see:
"First position set to (448.0, 66.0, -145.0) (462)".
If I right-click the same object, I see
"Second position set to (448.0, 66.0, -145.0) (1)".
I am not entirely sure what this means. I have deduced that the three numbers in the first pair of brackets are the location coordinates of the block. The number in the second pair of brackets still eludes me.
Has anyone else encountered this situation in other circumstances? I am curious as to what it means, what its purpose is, and (most importantly) whether or not I should be concerned about this being a bug that can cause potential world corruption or something of the sort.
Hm.. HMM... that's quite a bit of text for this simple problem. :biggrin.gif: The wooden axe is the wand for WorldEdit. Type //toggleeditwand to stop it.

/spawn list and look if there's a spider skeleton listed, if not they randomly are created by skels near spiders
about the spawners you could try damage values for the spawner block, /give <spawnerblockid> <tryrandomnumbershere>
Mob spawners don't work on damage. I answered him above.

Thank you. One final question though: how do you make a border so the map doesn't keep expanding?
Hm.. no can do with SPC. :smile.gif: There's probably a mod for it, though. I could write a plugin for it, too.

Erm, I have this mod on MyCraft, and it always gets stuck on "Simulating world for a bit".
Anyone know what to do?
What is MyCraft? You're the second person to say that. Make sure you have the right version of SPC for your version of Minecraft.

Right click on minecraft.jar, and you should have a 7Zip option in the right-click menu. Hover over that and select
"Open archive".

I just finished a super-mega-awesome foolproof error detector for SPC. :biggrin.gif: Might be in the next release if simo approves of it.
Ermm....Im not sure if this is an SPC mod option or not...but apparently I just made my inventory screen (as well as workbench and forge windows) very small. the rest of the Game window is displaying a normal. Im not sure what I did.
Any Ideas on how to get the inventory screen back to normal size?
Never mind....I fixed it. Closing out game and reopening it evidently fixed it.
How do you enter damage? Like if I want white wood, it would be 17 superscript 3. How do I enter that?
It's the <DMG> parameter on the item/give/i commands.

My single player commands doesn't recognize the world edit plug-in. What's wrong?
Put WorldEdit.jar into the .minecraft/bin/ folder alongside minecraft.jar, not IN minecraft.jar.

That usually happens when you're resizing the game window. Sometimes it will stretch and sometimes it will remain small.
Simo, i got a suggestion.
mayby you can change the killnpc command a bit, so you can use it like this:
/killnpc [Mobname] [Radius]
for example:
/killnpc ghast 9000
this kills al ghasts in a 9000 block radius.
it could also work like this:
/killnpc ghast all
this kills all ghasts over the complete map.
or like this:
/killnpc all 9000
kills all npc in a 9000 block radius.
the radius defaults to the radius you have now (when not using all)
and the mob defaults to all mobs.
but to kill all mobs you would have to type:
/killnpc all all
If you read, thanks for reading! (i would really like to be able to kill only ghasts, because they fly above sky limit and make terrible noises)
That's on our Todo list.

First of all, this mod is great, it's nice to test things out, and also good for beefing up on my combat. Thanks a million for your hard work on it.
I saw two neat videos of some additional add-ons by Trunksbomb ( and ), and noticed the Wolf Tamer one in the first post, but I was wondering if either one works with this current version of the mod, or has it been broken by the recent update?
I'll be updating those today. They're currently not working with 1.4_01.

Seeing as 1.4_01 only "removed" locked chests(does that mean like, completely gone from coding or it turned into a normal chest or....), and "beds' as spawns now work" even though they always worked, doesn't 1.4_01 only break mods that changes blocks(like this) and/or the bed class?
They didn't. I tested it.
Also, for an unknown reason this and other mods for 1.4 doesn't work with 1.4_01.
When they update, things get reobfuscated- that means that the names of all the classes and methods and fields get changed to some generic names, like "a" and "ab". So we all have to wait for MCP to get updated with the new names so we can recompile our mods.

I am unable to use the /give command with this mod. I get the text "could not find specified item". What did I do wrong in installation?
Try doing a search for the item you want. Do search itemName, replacing itemName with something you're searching for. If nothing shows up, you might be spelling it or typing it wrong. Do something generic, like search golden to find all golden tools/armour and their codes. You can also use the item IDs, so give 272 and the likes.
I've been trying to use the data values, i.e. 3 for dirt and that's when I get that error. Is there a problem with the file structure from the install? Here's an example of the command that I input: "/give (my name) 3 3" And in response, I get "cannot find specified item". This is the only problem I'm having with this mod. Noclip command works perfectly, as do some others. Why is the /give command not working properly?
*UPDATE* Wow. I'm a moron. If anyone else is having this problem after coming off of multiplayer servers, just use the command in this format and it will work: /give (item) (quantity). I've got it figured out. Thanks to the great people on these forums.
I have tried to download this many times. I use Windows and when i try to copy the .class files to the archive, it won't let me. Please tell me how I can fix this.
It breaks after "simulating world", but my problem is none listed in the four most common. Do I need modloader?
Follow the installation video.

in v2.6_1 if i have itemdamage turned off in single-player and change to multi-player the items don't appear to gain damaged
They are getting damaged, it's just not showing up on your side. Just go back to single player and turn itemdamage back on.

]just a suggestion but can you put in something like mine 60 and it mines 60 blocks that you are aiming at
You can use the WorldEdit super pick for that. Type // to enable super pick, and //sp area to change the size of the area mined.
I got it working with the most recent version, on MyCraft.
Anyone know what to do?
