This has most likely been asked somewhere else, but I'm rather intolerant of the search boxes on this site. Damned things.
Anyway, have you considered a Forge version of the mod? It used to be fine, but right now, it's a pretty screwed up, roundabout, and all-around difficult way to make them work together, but if you developed, or even outsourced to some other modder, a Forge version, it'd make many people's lives so much easier.
I followed the instructions of 3 tutorials, but none of them have worked. I did everything they said, but when i went to go to create a profile for the mod, the release spc wasn't there. I am on a mac and i downloaded it manually. P.S I changed the folder name the .jar name, the .json name and the id to all the same.

I'm on a Mac and got it to work with 1.6.2. It's not easy, but on the previous page #1486 are the two videos I use (first is SPC vanilla, second is my own video with Forge) that got it working for me.
Also, v 5.2 by q3hardcore for 1.6.4 was infinitely easier with Forge than 1.6.2.
I'm rather intolerant of people that don't research their question... Find and peruse one of my installation instructions!
To clarify, I asked if there was a Forge version in the works. I searched this thread for that question, but I'm not going to search somewhere else, as in, the entire site for threads the devs don't even know about, using a disuseful search system. I want to stay in the thread where this is relevant. That's what I meant. I phrased it badly though... sorry for our misunderstanding...
Anyway, I was not able to find anyone who has done this; that is, make a version that is more integrated with Forge, and droppable in the coremods folder, or something like that. If the mod itself is enough, don't sweat it, although I doubt you did anyway. But it would be a great feature to have a mod more than just barley compatible. Most people appreciate being able to do this kind of stuff, and not have to deal with screwing up jar files or using the wrong order, or stuff like that.
Players that can read and interpret what they read will find a version (in this very thread) capable of being added to the mods folder and working flawlessly with Forge. They will however (I think) need to place the WE.jar in the correct place. I play multiple versions and despise the way all Mods must be added to a common mods folder when using Forge. There should be a separate folder for each version. That's why I use Magic for Forge.

At LoRaM100's request, I am reposting my visual guide to installing Forge, Optifine, and Magic Launcher here, with some additional steps for installing SPC and World Edit following the main guide.
Installing Forge and OptiFine on Magic Launcher, a Visual Guide
Magic Launcher works with Forge if you follow the following steps to set it up. If you skip a step, or try to outsmart the process, then don't ask me for help. I have done this on 4 computers (two desktops running Windows 7, one laptop running Windows Vista, and one Mac Mini running OS X 10.7.5), and all of them work without a single problem or hiccup. Any claims by other mod authors that Magic Launcher is at fault are incorrect, and likely the result of user error in setting up Forge with Magic Launcher, or a corrupted/outdated mod. I suspect most people run into problems and blame Magic Launcher for not working because they do not perform steps 7-12 of this guide.
We are going to start off with a fresh clean install of Minecraft. This guide does work with a previous install of Minecraft, but just to be safe we're going clean to rule out any strange configurations or settings that might be tripping us up. A lot of people say to just delete the .minecraft folder, but you really don't want to do that and lose all your saved games and screenshots. Just rename it to something like '.minecraft.old' so you preserve your old setup in case you need it for some reason. Once you've done that, any Minecraft launcher you try to run will think you don't have the game installed, which is exactly what we want for this.
***PROTIP***
Ever tried to give a folder a name that starts with a period symbol? Windows will generally complain that you haven't really given the folder a name, because it thinks you're attempting to give the folder an extension instead. So, what's the trick? Give it a period at the end of the folder name as well! Yes, naming a folder '.minecraft.' will result in a folder named '.minecraft' as Windows will just snip that trailing period off once you hit enter. Take that, archaic DOS based naming conventions! (credit: source)
1. Go to Minecraft.net, download the latest launcher (currently 1.2.1, updated 1 Jul 2013).
Posted Image
Posted Image
2. Log in. You may have to sit and wait a bit depending on your download speed. Your game/computer has not frozen or locked up, so just be patient while that status bar runs.
Posted Image
3. Click play. More stuff will download.
Posted Image
4. When plain normal vanilla Minecraft starts, click on Quit Game.
Posted Image
5. Download the installer for the RECOMMENDED version of Forge. Not the Latest version, the RECOMMENDED version. Currently 9.10.0.804.
Posted Image
6. Run the installer and install the client. Click ok on the successful install notice.
Posted Image
Posted Image
7. Open the Mojang Minecraft launcher, NOT Magic Launcher. I haven't told you to download Magic Launcher yet.
8. Select the newly created 'Forge' profile. It may prompt you to log in again. Do so.
9. Hit that huge 'Play' button at the bottom of the window.
Posted Image
10. Things will download. Wait for them.
11. Minecraft will load with Forge stuff on the title screen.
Posted Image
12. Quit game.
13. Download and open Magic Launcher.
Posted Image
14. Click 'Setup.'
Posted Image
15. Click 'New' and give your new Magic Launcher profile a name. I named mine 'Forge 804' just for clarity on what version of Forge is being used.
16. Set your environment to 1.6.2-Forge9.10.0.804.
17. Click the 'Manage' button next to the lower mod window. Put your mod zips and jars in that folder.
17b. If a mod has a red status of 'internal mod,' put it somewhere else, and then 'Add' it into the upper mod window. This is how you install OptiFine and SPC. I do not know why TooManyItems reports 'no mods found.' It works fine in game, and I ignore the message.
Posted Image
18. Click on the 'Advanced' tab. Type '-Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true' into the Parameters field. Click 'ok.'
Posted Image
19. Now you're on the Magic Launcher main window. Select your new Forge profile in the configuration box and log in.
19b. If for some reason Magic Launcher is not logging in or wants you to play offline, look to see if the 6 little redstone lamps under the Password box are lit up. If they are all dark, check your firewall settings to see if either Magic Launcher or Java is being blocked from connecting to the Internet.
20. Play Minecraft!

SPC/World Edit Instructions
1. So you've done all that, and the game is working now. Great, right? No? Oh, I see, you've got a WorldEdit error message that looks like this.
Posted Image
2. Open up your .minecraft folder. If you've done a clean install, you'll notice that the bin folder is not there. Minecraft 1.6.2 no longer has one of those. What do we do now? We create the folder.
Posted Image
You can either right click within the .minecraft folder window and create a new folder from the context menu that appears next to your cursor, or you can click the 'New Folder' button up above.
This is a Windows 7 screenshot, so the process may be different for whatever OS you are using, but the right click menu should be there for pretty much everybody. If for some strange reason your right click menu doesn't have the New Folder option, you can usually find it in the File menu instead. Name that new folder 'bin' and stick that WorldEdit.jar in there.
Posted Image
You have now installed WorldEdit into Minecraft 1.6.2. Do your happy dance.
Any further errors are the result of buggy or outdated mods and/or computer problems. As stated above, I have performed the above steps on 4 different computers, in some cases twice just to verify that the process works, and all of them run Minecraft, Forge, Optifine, and other mods without any problems or errors. Make sure your mods are up to date and are compatible with the current RECOMMENDED build of Forge. Do not update Forge until there is a newer recommended build available, and then be aware that some mods may break until they are rebuilt against the newer Forge build.
When in doubt, go download your mods again, just to be certain that you didn't have a corrupted download the first time around. If all else fails, try updating your Java installation. I've seen at least one poster here say that they fixed their problems after downloading and installing Java again. The current Java version is 7 Update 25.
If you want to post a log, don't just click 'View Log' and paste the 8 lines useless lines that show up in there at the start and tell us nothing. Click on 'View Log' first, and then click on 'Test.' The log window will fill with oodles of useful information for you to share with the forums and hopefully somebody can then find a clue to whatever is plaguing your gaming experience.
I hope this visual guide to installing Forge and Optifine using Magic Launcher helps somebody out there.
Sir, I tip my hat to you. I couldn't get this mod to work with the new launcher system, but your guide showed me the way!

I'll try using Magic. I'll probably tinker around with my build to see where I screwed up before I start using training wheels, as I prefer to mod clean. I never had problems in previous versions doing it without using any tools, but with the new instal instructions, I came across several problems. And I had no idea there was a forge version. I searched this thread, and a few other sites, unable to find it. I'll take those tips into consideration!
Although I didn't appreciate the whole "real Minecrafters" thing, seeing that I've been playing on mods since alpha, and made a couple non-distribution ones myself.
Either way though, thanks for the help, sorry for the trouble, and see you all later!
I need to be careful here I get nicked far to many times when I tell the truth! The following were my thoughts... I am in no way calling or suggesting you are any of the following.
I thought you an entitled 12 year old. Your first post complains about how difficult to use this Mod with Forge (poor pitiful me). Then you seemed to be unwilling to do anything to help yourself, expecting someone else to do all the research and provide you with the answer you wanted. I see this all too often and am intolerant of these attitudes. I don't care what your age, I expect you to be adult enough to help yourself and I care not whether you've been crippled with Forge syndrome!
It seems I may have been mistaken, please forgive me.
To answer your initial question, q3hardcore wrote a 1.6.4 version for Forge. All you need do is add his SPC.jar to the mods folder of a properly opened Forge 1.6.4 (I used 916) MC. I think you will need to move the WorldEdit.jar to the proper place. You'll find a link (it was broken and I've repaired it) in two of the links below. q3 has appearantly inherited this Mod from simo_415. Both gents have my gratitude.

All SPC Versions Installation Guide: http://www.mediafire...SPC_Install.pdf
I did all the steps correctly. When i started my minecraft, I went into my singleplayer world to test it out, and it froze at "loading world".
This is how I got Single Player Commands:
Copied the 1.6.2 folder and pasted it in the versions folder.
I renamed it to SinglePlayerCommands-Mc1.6.2_V4.9.zip
I renamed the jar file and the json file the same exact thing.
I used 7-zip to open the jar files archive.
I went into META-INF and deleted everything except for the MANIFEST.MF file.
I opened SinglePlayerCommands archive and moved all of the files(except WorldEdit.jar) into the other archive
I closed both archives and went into my minecraft/bin.
I copied WorldEdit.jar into minecraft/bin.
I closed it and started my Minecraft Launcher.
I added a new profile and selected my SinglePlayerCommands-Mc1.6.2_V4.9.zip version
I have a 32-bit. Please help me, I want SinglePlayerCommands so badly
OMG! I've been trying for the past week to install this on my mac. I'm wondering if I need any other mods like Forge or TMI. Does Anyone know?, because when I go in my launcher to version "singlecommands" doesn't show up. I've tried 1.6.2-mods, SPC, and others as well. I'm naming all the folders and "id:" the same (single commands) I'm still wondering what I could be doing wrong.
