Can the "/roll" command be a permanent feature of Single Player Commands? It was a shame to see it go after only using it a few times. It's actually pretty fun. Gives that "trollish" ambience that's missing from SSP Minecraft, you know?
Is there a more automated way to run a macro than accessing a file?
I'm [slowly] working on a (complier) assembler / program installer for redstone computers, and the one previous assembler that could save bits directly to Minecraft used a default SPC macro named DataOut.txt. It basically just cleared all the torches in the ROM to start with, then teleported around and placed torches where bits needed to go. But telling people to make a one-off file just to read it again a couple seconds later is a bit inelegant... Could my program invoke the macro method in SPC directly? Would I be better off writing a WorldEdit script / plugin? If I just sent my command line output to the MC console, would SPC be able to read that? (with lots of chat spam)
...And yes, I've also though about just generating .schematic files myself. Might get hard to port to different computer outputs tho.

I've done some research on WE commands, and if I'm correct these 3 commands don't nor have they ever worked with SPC, //regen - (not functional with SPC) - Regenerate the selection region. //tree [type] - (not functional with SPC) - Switch to the tree tool. Available types [tree, regular, big, bigtree, redwood, sequoia, tallredwood, tallsequoia, birch, white, whitebark, pine, randredwood, randomredwood, anyredwood, rand, random. //remove <type> <radius> - (not functional with SPC) - Remove nearby entities. Type can be "items" for loose items/drops, arrows, boats, minecarts, or tnt.
I suspect if the //remove is not functional that these don't work as well; //removeabove [size] [height] - Remove blocks above your head. //removebelow [size] [height] - Remove blocks below your feet. //removenear [block] [size] - Remove blocks near you.
Am I correct? If true we probably need ask simo to modify the WE command list,
TIA

I can confirm that the tree command has worked in that past.

I have gotten all of these commands to work before. Maybe it's just the current version that's got problems?
@ Bulletproof6246 & Team_Subspace;
I don't use these commands. I went back to sk89q's original command list, and those commands were listed as not functional for SPC. Apparently somewhere in time they became functional. Thanks.

I need help! How do I prevent scripts from timing out after 3 seconds? I tried to change a variable, but it doesn't work. I'm using the fab script and getting time outs and only half finished builds. I know how to do it with Bukkit, but it is very annoying to do. Currently, I copy my world into the Bukkit server, using the scripts there, and copying it back to Single Player. It is very annoying to do and I am looking for a simple solution. Please help me.

Using current SPC and an updated WE
//regen doesn't seem to do anything, but returns no error, I've never used it before today
//tree works fine; I've used it before, never had any problems with it
//remove doesn't seem to work. No error returned.
//removeabove and //removebelow work just fine
ditto //removenear
I'm wanting to create a space map. I just need the right textures. Give me a good space texture pack without MCpatcher and i will do just fine. I will credit you just...just tell me the link or...yeah.

That's what I get for applying logic (//remove). I'm not surprised!

//regen - Correct never worked
//tree [type] - I guess broken? It did work at one point
//remove [type] - I guess broken? It should work
//removenear/above/below - Should all work as well...
