I only got this mod for the first time last week. I have to say, it's absolutely incredible. Thank you for your time, effort, and extreme patience - without these, none of us would be able to say "Go ahead creeper, explode. I'll just stand here and laugh as I drink my hot chocolate, and walk away without a scratch."
Ordering people to update is a bannable offence. What do you people do all day? Go around trolling threads telling everyone to update because a new version is out? Get a ****ing life and learn some goddamn patience. It takes time to update things, its not just some magic pixie dust you can pull from your ass. It involves time and effort and is extremely difficult; especially for mods on this scale. Simo will update it when he has time, and you people ordering him to update every 5 minutes wastes his time, making it take even longer. If you're so damn impatient, why don't you update it yourself with your magic powers or just use an older version of Minecraft? Please stop complaining and just get over it. It'll be updated when its updated.
i came to check for an update too, i didnt plan on asking for one.. only looking, but seeing 50 pages of people asking for an update is entirely what i expected. This games population is mostly 10-15 year olds from what ive seen, theyre just about the most impatient creatures on earth, i remember being the same at that age.
They'll grow up and get some manners but nothing you can say (or even having a giant spastic rant that makes you looks like an absolute retard) is going to stop them, just calm down and ignore them. theyre gonna ask, it doesnt affect you, maybe only the creator of the mod.. but by now he's obviously used to it and it doesnt stop him from updating.
Its excatly like RC2 except maybe small things, but im not here to complain but im comming a little impatient cuz im lazy to build large houses i need WE
I know you can't post up the commands for 1.0.0 (full game) because MCP isn't out for 1.0.0, so when would MCP come out for 1.0.0? because I would like to update my mods.... plus now every time I try posting something up like a new mod, the moderators delete the post >:| I don't even post anything offensive or troll and flame people and stuff, all I do is post my mod, give detail about it, and post the download, make sure I have all the things required for the post, and then a moderator deletes the post......
You must have done something wrong, anyway, this isn't the place to talk about it.
In complete agreement with the quote above, for sure.
Man, there's several mods I wish were up to date but I don't go around flailing my arms "UPDATE UPDATE OMG UPDAAAAAAAATE". Have some damn patience. The mod will be updated when the creator has the time to do so and when the required component (see: MCP) is also up to date.
I don't have any lag problem with TMI, and I use these two mods together respectively, with every update. I think they compliment each other rather well. I don't like having to tab in and out to check item IDs so I use TMI to spawn items, but I like having complete control over my world so using SPC in tandem is nice.
Feature request/suggestion (Please don't bury this get buried with "when's it being updated" crap!)
Hey simo_415, I love your mod and really appreciate all the work you've put into it. While very thorough and covering just about all aspects of the game, I noticed a distinct lack of commands for slime finding. In the spirit of completeness (and utility), I'd like to suggest and request adding the following two commands in regards to slimes:
"/slimechunk" returns true of false if the player is currently located within a slime chunk.
"/slimedebug" toggles a "true/false" display of slime chunks in the f3 debug menu similar to the Slime Chunk Finder mod.
Again, thanks for continuing to support and improvements for this mod. I look forward to its next update!
p.s. If anyone else thinks this is a good idea, please quote it so it gets noticed. Thanks!
Thats the pot calling the kettle black.

Yeah, I agree. I want it to be 1.0.0, but don't force him. We should actually be grateful there is a mod like this
