Awesome mods just a few things bothering me about to OP. First stickysneak's title where you explain what it is and provide the download link says "bandages" also your link for back to top says "back to toc". Great mods again these things were just bothering me.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot- proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.
lahwran, I certainly don't want to be pushy, but any ETA on when you might be able to update your Settings API for Beta 1.2? And as always, thanks for working on and releasing these mods. :-)
beta settings api is done, however has major api changes that I have to document. I am also going to see if I can get sharose to test it with his mod before uploading.
to those with errors: I read each goddamn error report you posted, good job to the ones who figured it out, to the ones who didn't, your error reports all tell me you're doing something obvious wrong.
to those who want me to update hunger/bandages: they're too out of date to be worth updating now, I'll be rewriting them soon. there will be some differences. hopefully I can figure out a place to control arm strength and such. what'd be even cooler is sleep, where it makes you stop playing the game for a while. it'd go well with longer days, minecraft days are too short IMO. the idea would be that when it gets late in game, you get tired, and strengths decrease. sleep would require you to quit the game. when you start the game again, it would simulate everything that would have happened had you been still; at least, that's what I'd see as the coder - what it'd feel like is that creepers can get you while the game is closed! at least, if you're asleep. once you wake up ingame it stops simulating at high speed and goes back to normal speed.
one of the main things is that hunger and bandages and so on and so forth will lead into the nethack mod. as I want to display more and more stuff, there is less and less room for bars. there is plenty of room when only adding a hunger bar, but I am also going to add a thirst bar (toggleable), next to the already there hunger bar (toggleable) and have multiple options for how healing works (food heals you some but not as much, do you heal over time, how fast do you heal over time, etc).
also, I fixed the static-resizing bug in 0.9.5, so you can now change the minecraft window size after opening the settings screen. now I have only to alter the renderer to view scale and we have a minecraft gui :ohmy.gif: and it shouldn't be too hard either...

I see it'd be like Stranded 2 except the punishment curve is much higher when you neglect sleep and shelter, well in some ways, in others not so much. I like I like, but to make your life much simpler why not just make the character take an arbitrary amount of damage when he's not sleeping in an adequate shelter or when he neglects sleep for too long and passes out? Stranded 2 does it according to how hungry or thirsty you are so it gets predictable eventually not only that but if you flat out negelct sleep in Stranded 2 you die within the day you neglected it upon, and well that's just lame.

Been hearing you go on about it, but what in blaze's hell is it?

Or instead of doing it as a bunch of bars you could just do what Cthulu Dark Corners of the Earth did. Aside from your character getting weaker from decreasing health, stamina and lack of medical attention you also start hallucinating, your vision gets blurry, until, WHAM! Your characer passes out or just dies. It'd be much cleaner and scarier then a bunch of flashing displays and nobs and what not. But if it's not feasible for you to make it this interactive I'd understand why you're not digging this idea so much.
Anyhow nice to see you're not abandoning the hunger mod idea, and hope you'll take my words into consideration.
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=117201 is nethack-minecraft. not much to talk about and get excited at since it's still just a set of ideas.
edit: also, all behaviors will have on/off switches in the gui, because not everyone will like them. the nethack mod will actually be a massive compilation of mods all written for the same purpose, but because many people will only want some parts of it, you'll be able to shut off what you don't want.

Hope the updates come soon,
Since in my Country It's already a few days(or a day) after the release of beta 1.2_01.
Not going to update after all of the mods I installed, update.
I updated it during the night ... also made a server version that only works if you're op beuase it uses /give
tired as ****ing hell
thanks to scaevolus, I found out that the lwjgl that minecraft uses (I think 1.4?) is really old and that upgrading fixes a sticky key bug that drives me mad ... turns out it also fixes the mouse input bug I currently work around. that means I can throw out MCTWLInput.class (the workaround) and just say "upgrade twl first". basically, click and drag will work soon... hooray
note: in case you can't tell, I'm tired. as ****ing hell.

Nope. Wait for the mod author to update it. Either play the new version or keep your old and wait for updates.
