that is the error you get when your versions don't match up, go to Flans page and get the temporary mod or make sure all of your mods and minecraft are v1.4
GUYS, FLAN HAS UPDATED THE MOD FOR 1.5.01.
CHECK THE PLANES THREAD FOR IT!
HE ALSO HAS PERMISSION TO UPDATE OTHER PARTS AS WELL!

I agree, guy is on a goddamn vacation, just stick with it for now.
There are many other cool server mods like runecraft and industrialcraft, give them a try.

I've looked through all the .txt documents in .minecraft and can't locate the setting to change what weapon spawners spawn, all i get is the AK-47, Are you not able to change this?
Just replace the INVedit files with these files.

i did this but when i used invedit to put the items in my inventory, i didnt have them. i saved it after quitting to title screen 3 times but still didnt have guns

Are you saving to and loading from the right world?
You do have SDK Guns mod installed, right?
i onlyhave 1 world to save/load from, and i installed flan's unofficial sdk mod since this one hasn't ben updated yet
we all know that hes on vacation, and that flan has an unofficial update, but cmon, its been like three weeks already. it doesnt take that long to update, and if u did it, i bet you'd get a lot more visits to adfly than u are now. we love ur mod, and we would be very grateful uf u updated it.

Firstly dude... Seriously take a chill pill, and if you don't have a chill pill take one of those new chill strips. You put it in your mouth, it melts on your tounge. Chill.
All RvB quotes aside, check your version xD the mod hasn't been updated for some time, you probably have MC v 5_1, where this is the mod for 4_1. Long story short, it won't work untill its updated. Sorry dude.
EDIT: BTW, theres an unofficial update according to the surrounding posts XD

the exact time's not the point. all im saying is that sdk shouldn't keep his fans waiting like this. he should at least say when he will be updating it. and i did say it pretty respectfully (unlike some of the other posts)
so, it is an assualt rifle, with an integrated scope, and has really crappy rcoil, but amazing acuracy (spell check anyone?), and i have any idea for crafting. ok so its kida like the M4, except on the top middle you add the scope, or he could make a reddot scope that you can add to any gun. ? anyone interested cuz this would fricking epic. it would run on small bullets, have a fire rate alittle bit slower than the AK47, but it can scope, and it also has its own 'scope'.png.
i also made a scope.png for a dragunov that you can replace to origional with, if any one is interested in that.
im pretty sure that would approve.
EDIT*oops, the m4 version with the scope is the sig gun, actually craft it like a MP5, but with scope on top. OOPS

I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on a modding problem I'm having.
I have a small home server set-up for my friends and I and for mods we use IndustrialCraft by Alblaka. So a few days ago one of my friends comes across a cool mod and he tells me I should add it to our server. I ask which and says it's SDK's Guns, Grappling Hook, and Utilities.
Now I know from reading the IC forum that SDK and IC together break the sprite limit in SSP. So I told him that and he said that just SDK's Utilities would work well cause of the scuba tank to build a underwater base.
So in summary I tried adding SDK's Server Mods to my server with IC and it crashed (over sprite limit). My question for you is can I just add the SDK's Utilities to the server and not the Guns and Grappling Hook?

i just had one of those things that people call a brain wave.
when SDK get back, i have a Gun suggestion for him. this is my favorite gun of all time, and i KNOW people would love this.
