I keep screwing up the game whenever i try this mod

could you please give me a quick and basic tutorial

Yes, I have ModLoader, latest, it works.

i got white screened plz help i used tfcs mod manerger and it did this i used the 1.4_01 and latest modloader and adieo mod and gui aip plz help

Thank you for the update! I know SDK won't be responding to posts anymore. But I was wondering if there was any way to disable some of the mods? All I'm interested in downloading at this time is the Grappling Hook mod. But there doesn't seem to be a way to download it separately. Does anybody know the files that correspond to the grappling hook mod, so I can delete all the other ones? That would be very helpful.

For all who installed it right but it wont work you need a metal receiver which is told how to be crafted at the beginning of the forum.

you know I'm not a halo fan but some craftable armor might be nice to add and here's what i think it should be like

i think it should be iron armor any piece of it in the middle surrounded with green dye except at bottom middle that's where you would put redstone
this way it would sort of regenerate over time (like halo) but slowly and its just slightly weaker then iron so i think that would be a good thing to add maybe just me but what the heck thought i would give a suggestion

lylrus u need to put the .properties files in the .minecraft folder. In the .minecraft folder not the jar, not the saves not the bin the .minecraft folder

Check under the 'general information' tab on the first post.
It tells you basic instructions on how to use both Lighter and Grinder.
If you need further instruction using redstones, I think there's another thread for that.

Has anyone tried this mod combination yet?

Didn't see this under the Mod Compatibility tab, so I'm asking here.
I manually add each mod since Mod Manager might mess up some .properties files.
I can't get it to work yet. Can someone confirm it too?

1. Which version of minecraft are you using?
2. Which version of SDK gun mod are you using?
3. Which version of Mod Loader are you using?
4. Did you use TFC Mod Manager or Manual Installation?

If minecraft, sdk gun, and mod loader are all same versions, then either you installed it strangely, or it's a glitch.
If it's a glitch, you should check under trouble-shooting.

Could someone give me some detailed installation instructions so i don't run into problems?
