I am using both the meteorite mod and the Mo' Creatures mod. After downloading the meteorite mod I can't create any items from either mod. I can no longer make horse saddles and I can not make the meteor summoner thing. I am going to delete my bi.class file and use the one from the horses for now.

EDIT: I figured the bi.class would be used by both mods and the meteorite one screwed up somehow, while going back to re use my horse files there was no bi.class or any file with the same name as another from the meteorites. I am running the latest version of Java, mod loader, and minecraft.

Double Edit: Deleting any of this mod's files makes minecraft crash at startup. Having the mod files doesn't work, as there are no menu options, and I can not craft things that I should be able to (animals from mod still spawn and such). Any ideas on what to do besides deleting my whole bin? (I really don't want to reload my whole bin again, if I fix this I'm backing it up)

Triple Edit: I deleted my bin and reloaded all mods except the meteroite. One mod I forgot to mention that might be doing this is Zanaris's Mini Map. Goodnight.

Great mod, (Meteor) was looking forward to using it but have had to remove it.
My Mo' Creatures is now No Creatures. I knew the risks (saw it was a known bug) and thought even that might be interesting as I'm tripping over them normally. But no. Now they're too rare. Haven't seen anything for two game days. The world is a little too dead now.
Great work though, loved hearing them crash to earth and having to find them. Am looking forward to when you manage to iron out that bug and I can play it again.

I think reason is id values. How can i change them for example to 785 to stop conflicts?
I had to remove the meteors because I loved my Mo' Creatures too much. Here's one of the more tragic/fun meteors that hit, a little too close to home for my taste.
So I got this broblem on my mac, for some reason it wouldn't work together with the Steambunk-mod, so when I tried deleting everything and getting a clean install, it still tells me Elevator.class and the two other files are in the .jar..
Which is kind of confusing, seeing as I DELETED everything (.jar in abblications, minecraft folder in abblication subbort).
I would download, but I'm afraid a huge meteor is going to crash into my stable and blow up my horses and pegasi. Is there anyway you can make the meteors for only hard difficulty?
I love your mod, but an anoying bug that im having a problem is that on the fast elevator 1/4 of the gold area is onfire. how do i fix that? or can you.

That sounds like a texture problem. Are you using a texture pack bigger than 16x16?

If you can't create it, that means you either didn't use the right ingredients, or you didn't install it correctly. If there was an ID conflict, the game would black screen at the beginning.

Try closing and reopening your archive viewer. You might still be looking at the old jar.

Go on peaceful, or put a roof on your stable and turn explosions off .

How do I make meteors more common? I've tried both low and high values for rarity and I've still only seen 1. Does a higher or lower rarity make meteors more common?

I have been trying to use the elevator mod with no success, I followed the installation instructions, drag the .class files to minecraft.jar and delete META-INF folder, but when I try to craft the item at the workbench, no item results, I believe I've been using the correct ingredients, 7 stone/rock (not cobblestone) in a 'U' shape with an Iron or Gold bar on top and a piece of Redstone dust in the center, but I'm still not getting the elevator block. 1) Even with the latest meteorite release, normal mobs AND Mo'Creature's mobs are extremely rare. The HumansPlus (human mobs) seem unaffected.
2) Is there a a way to add in meteorites of new ores added in by other mods (such as Shockah's emeralds/firestone/silver)?
3) As with 2), is there a way to also add meteorites of smoothstone and obsidian?
