That's one of the main reasons. However I've changed my stance regarding modpacks. I would prefer people that decide to add my mod to modpacks to include me in the credits and avoid profiting from the release of the modpack. And at any time I reserve the right to remove that implicit permission.
Even though my CaerCraft server and modpacks are always strictly private, I always do my best to make sure that all authors of all mods and resource packs I use (and even textures that I base my own integration textures on) are properly credited on my server information pages. It's just ... polite and decent.
(Which reminds me that I should probably start putting together a 1.10.2 64x resource pack patch, with my MoC silver-sword texture which is based on LotR orc swords.)

so out of curiosity if i were to make a you tube series with a friend or 2 on a server and this mod was in there (i'm not using a mod pack (i don't think this qualifies) its just some mods i personally selected to play with some friends with) would it be allowed if in the video description there was a link to this forum and/or dr. zharks website? i was planning on having a link to every website/forum page for all the mods. but i am just curious.
I dunno if this has been answered, but I'm having troubles getting some of the horses. I spawn them in in creative, to see what they can eb bred with, and I really only get Zebras, and two to three other horses.

I find them its depands on what biome u are in, in certain areas it will have high chance of spawning in zebra and not much of other horse with spawn egg.

We have 25 mods installed and it only happens when Mo'Creatures is installed, the issue disappears as soon as we uninstall it. The worse part is that this friend is the one insisting to play with it.

Sounds like there is not enough memory allocated to your friends client. This can be solved by enabling JVM arguments by clicking "edit".
-Xmx1G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M
If 1G is not enough this can be changed to the following 1200M or 1400M and so on. How much memory can be seen by pressing f3 if the % to the top right is above 70-80% more memory may need to be allocated.

This is probably a derp moment on my part but I've spent about 2 hours messing with it and just cant seem to get it to work.
How do you use the /give command to get a mocreatures spawn egg in 1.10? Since 1.9 uses Entity tags instead of data numbers I found that the command would be "/give @p spawn_egg 1 0 {EntityTag:{id:Wolf}}" for a vanilla wolf and it does work. But if I try to change it to get a mocreatures egg, "/give @p spawn_egg 1 0 {EntityTag:{id:Horsemob}}" for example, it simply gives me a named blank spawn egg.
Does anyone have any advice on this? Thanks in advance. ^^
that just disables the vanilla spawning rule, it doesn't touch CMS.

I am looking to get it to disable all the creatures from spawning on their own without having to alter the config a whole bunch.
I would just like to summon them in myself and not worry about any other creatures spawning in without having to change true to false like a hundred times.
If I'm not mistaken, the "Horsemob" name is a mod-specific ID, not a global ID. Otherwise, if another mod would add its own mob and cause a conflict. If both mods added their mobs like this: "MoCreatures:Horsemob" and "RubysHorses:Horsemob", they would not conflict, since the mod ID has to be unique.
Therefore, I think your EntityTag should be something like : {id:"mocreatures:Horsemob"}
I'm not sure about the exact mod ID though.

Is there a mod for 1.10.2 that can help you dump your enity ID's to a .csv file?* NEI might still have that feature?
In that case it would be easier to find the exact name.
