No they wont despawn if you own the creatures so if you tamed a horse the wont despawn unless you go on that world without the mod working it will otherwise the tamed animals wont despawn same thing if you hatch sharks or fish as well as if you tame the dolphins that's all I know I haven't played in a while
For some reason when I log in on a world were I have pets I get unbearable lag, my game doesn't even move and it takes upto a minute just for the menu to come up. On my other worlds were I don't have any pets It runs smoothly and I can run it on far render distance easily. Does anyone know why having pets is causing my game to lag so much. I cant do anything on my main world now unless I remove mo'creatures.
I used to have the same problem, it's almost like my minecraft "adapted" to mo' creatures. i have LOTS of big cats, dolphins, birds, ( trapped deer XD ) bunnies, and horses. My minecraft was extremly slow at first after taming all of them, so i set the animals in the game down to about 25, and the hostiles down to about 20, the water animals to 25 and called it good. Now i can play on far with ease and lots of tamed animals, you might just need to turn the spawn limits down a bit.
Also, can anyone tell me why my black pegasus, scuttles can suddenly walk through walls? o3o just an odd habit that he has suddenly adapted...and yes, i named him scuttles ._.
why are you have problems with a block id conflict? im not sure i think Dr Zhark may have put in a prop file to check that even if not the ids can be found if you have toomanyitems :smile.gif:. im not to sure about how to change the block id's and that.
Don't have TMI. I do, however, have singleplayercommands. How else do you get the items without spawning them? I wants me a rope!
Other than obviously seeing the creatures in-game, how will i know the mod works right? I tried looking around for animals but found only the standard one. Is there any way to know if i did something wrong?

You should see lots of animals as soon as you spawn so you must have donw something wrong but just to be sure, try it on a harder difficulty.
I downloaded it about an hour ago, and I loved it! The creature physics and requirements are realistic, (if not a bit difficult...)
The creatures and their various functions are very interesting, and makes Minecraft a bit more enjoyable and action-ey.
The birds I think were genius. They overall make Minecraft more peaceful during the daytime, even if you're facing certain death by an Ogre or Creeper. Speaking of monsters, the various types of them are quite scary. The Ogres are huge, fat, and spell doom in a dark cavern. Wraiths? Made me quit playing Normal right off the bat. Although I was scared to death, I still changed it to Normal to take a look at the werewolves, which I think have the biggest potential. You see, Every time I run into a hobo in the forest and he says "Help me...", I feel so bad because I know I can't do a thing for him. In fact, in my first run-in with him, I led him into my house and tried to give him food and clothes... Bad mistake. When night fell, I watched in horror as he was dying, and I didn't know what was happening, and when I finally saw the grotesque monster in front of me (Nice job on it btw!) I knew what it was.
Maybe you could add a feature where you could calm it, so It wouldn't attack you as much by feeding it pork or fish or something? That would make things a LOT easier if one were to suddenly spawn right outside...
Anyways, The horses were incredible. I had to tab out to read about them, like, 50 times though. When I first saw the bunnies and put one on my head, I made that high-pitched "aww!" that Simon always does on the Yogscast... And now I know why they do it too :3.
The bigcats were a bit too common, but were quite exciting to mess around with get killed from. Stupid animals...
Also, the other "tidbit" mobs fit my unstable mind quite nicely, and almost evened out the relaxing day and the scary night in my Minecraft gameplay.
Keep up the good work!
P.S. Really do do something about the werewolves. Just had another hobo walk in on me asking for help. :sad.gif:
Is this a joke? I have never heard a hobo ask me for help. Do they want food?
BTW, I like to fly around at night and shoot lighting arrows at mobs and although I was never around my house, two ogres spawned in my home and started trashing it. It was brightly lit. I had killed the ogres and I was building another floor and I heard a Boom BOOM BOOM, I rushed down and killed them with a sword but man!...what was that all about? Ogres can come back to life and destroy my home from the inside????
To the Minecrafter complaining about lag. It's probably a texture pack.
Oh, and Dr. Zark, please consider a bigfoot, Lochness and a chupacabra.
Sorry for so many posts. This will be my last for a spell.
Someone mentioned a dolphin glitch. Here is what I experienced today:
The waterfall is about 50 meters long and only falls into a puddle. Right after this glitch a bunch of dolphins and then sharks began to spawn in this puddle only to die due to a lack of water.
Concerning the crafting recipie for rope; It seems to conflict with a multitude of other mods, including Extra Craftables. I'm not suggesting that you should change the recipie, Zhark, if anything THEY should change it. But is there any way to trademark a recipie? I doubt it, but it's worth a shot. I've had to turn down at least 5 other mods because they had something craftable with string in an X :/
Besides that, this is definitely my favorite mod! Great work!
I'm not sure if any one else has noticed this, or maybe its only me....but, it seems like during the day, so many wild animals spawn, birds, bunnies, deer, horses, dolphins, fish, fox's, everything i could find basically, than at night, it seems like, they...stop spawing so much? during the day it'll be vast numbers of all kinds of animals, and then at night they spawn in small groups of 1 or 2. In the day, it seems like they all spawn in large groups of between 4-7 and then at night, only 1, or 2. I'm not sure if this is just me...or not? I prefer to play on peaceful in my current world, since it's all about building for me. So, it's definantly not the hostile mobs taking up the space in spawn limits. If any one else has noticed this, is there a real reason for it?

-Best regards.
I've noticed this as well. I do believe it has something to do with the fact that most docile mobs only spawn during the day :/ or some other completely logical and true statement like that.

How to i change the spawn rates, i suppose that might make a difference but i don't know how to.
