Do you currently have the capability to render non-standard models (meaning non-ModelBiped, ModelQuadraped), etc?

I have not tried, but I guess it may not be that different from the other models. What do you have in mind?

They spawn in any grass. The biome-specific spawning is in the 'To Do' list

Thanks for this. Unfortunately, I get an error message when I start up Minecraft (this is off a fresh install):
One possible problem is that I struggled to understand your comment:
I added the contents of the ...\mod\ folder to the ...\newsound\ folder, and got the crash message. I tried adding the \mod\ folder with all its contents to the \newsound\ folder instead, and got the same crash message.
This is a major bug, and until it is fixed I recommend noone download it. =/

OPP'S Dubble post on the same thing... sorry...
Even though I knew it wouldn't be compatible, I still decided I'd try it out. I managed to find a lion, but when I started to approach it, the game froze. It was probably when the lion was going to make a sound. You should try to be clearer about which files we should put in what directory to install the new sounds.
I've been watching this mod for a while, and I hope I'll be able to use it one day.
I'm guessing the crashes and bugs are related to this mod changing files thar are also affected by other mods
I will work on porting this to the Mod Manager utility... for now, would you guys mind testing this in an unmodified version of the game? Keep in mind I just finished the mod, some quirks are bound to happen.
Let me know what you think
I'm sorry, I was in a rush with the instructions....
the whole folder '\mod' containing the .ogg files, should be copied into the resources\newsounds
so the \resources\newsounds where you find for example \mob will have a the \mod folder in it. This is not inside of your minecraft.jar file, but where you have installed minecraft
Hope it helps

A mirror would be great!
