Anyone else have a hard time finding a pegasus? I've looked for 5 hours total now, just stupid Unicorns....Is there specific areas where Pegasus spawn?

Thanks for the encouragement I think I found out why they weren't spawning.

Anyone have a stable they like the look of? I'd love to see it. I'd love to have an open area for my horses that is safe from monsters. I've got a feeling that other predators will kill them if you let them.

I'd ask the Aesthetically pleasing crew, but it might be abit off topic.

Hey, just wondering, does the new horse saddle work with texture packs bigger then 16x16? I have it working on my 16x16 texture pack no problem, I decided to try a 32x32 texture pack, did the new jar file and hd patcher, then added my mods in along with this one. When in game if I try to check my inventory the game crashes, a saddle is there, so I deleted it and game worked. When I try to craft a new one, it won't work, don't get any output in the craft box. I even tried downloading a new zip file and added it back into the jar again. still no luck, so I'm wondering if anyone else has the problem.

I use Minecraft Backup Assistant (found here: http://minecraftbackup.codeplex.com/) to backup my saves. You can also copy the files in your save folder to another location. To do this on a Windows computer, copy paste the following into Windows Explorer and replace YourAccountName with the name of your windows account.

C:\Users\YourAccountName\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves

Once you are there, you will see a list of your worlds. Just copy the folder of each world that you want to backup.

my horse despawned... i also have 303's arrow mod and grappling hook mod, as well at a writable book mod. the newest one is the grappling hook one. could there be a compatibility issue? or is this a glitch?

Thanks you guys for the help on taming the horse, But right as i posted that I jumped on my horse again, And it was tamed.

Add porcupine.

3 health.
.5 health lost when touching it or when hit with hand.
chicken size.
drops niddle.
niddles can be used for something, dunno what.
can jump 1 block high.
neutral.
spawns on grass.
Half a chickens size.

Maybe add camels as a sort of desert horse?

I think that you should (as others have said) add Nightmares as a horse variant. It should be the absolute best, rarest and hardest to tame out of all the variants, and can only be found in the Nether (but you can bring it to the normal world). It would faster than any horse (including the Unicorn), more health, faster flying than Pegasus and same jump as unicorn. Would cause fire damage when it runs into something, would set fire to blocks it walks on (doesn't stay on fire unless it's a flammable block), immune to fire damage and can walk on lava. As I already said, it would the rarest and hardest to tame, it would also attack you if it gets annoyed.

i love this but horse riding needs a little work becuase the horse takes over for like half a sec and it kinda sucks but ya and another thing you should mod is like a fence with a string and you could tie your horse up so it doesnt jump around and go anywhere like this (if i do it right) [] []

how about instead he adds a skeletal horse as the enemy one, skeletons and zombies ride them and it speeds them up

So...if you're just sitting on it it moves around. If you are actually willing it to move then you have complete control? When tamed that is.

SUGGESTION:
you and the human pack maker need to mix these so that they have native americans that ride horses and shoot u with a bow-arrow
