I tried to reskin the cow into a bull...


I changed the color since the boar and bear are already sort of this color but it makes it look like an overweight reindeer imo



EDIT: I may do another recolor, and maybe even a recolor of the boar later.

The first is probably better than either, so I'll do a recolor of the boar

the ogres are amazing
they add a whole new level of difficulty to the game

I have a problem with flame wraiths spawning on normal difficulty.

*edit: Actually, everything even if it's supposed to spawn at a higher difficulty for some reason spawns at easy, and ogres spawn way too frequently.

I will wait for the tutorial on that one! Right now, I am trying to get my mummy to throw a block. So, hopefully the tutorial will have animation, such as your ogres arm swing.

I've tried everything but still Minecraft looks the same, please pm me if you have skype or can somehow help me.

Ogres are too weak. They need to be more of a challenge if they give diamonds.
Alternatively, make them drop damaged diamond tools.

Well DrZhark added red eyes to the boar skin I made earlier, and I thought it seems fitting since the default creatures are a bit derp looking and not at all intimidating.

You could put the pupils in the center but it still isnt very intimidating, that's why I just filled the eye red instead of to one side or the other, I mean it definately fit with the boar but with the bull it just looked silly. I mean if you really have a problem with it its just a matter of editing 4 pixels

The only ogres that drop diamonds are the elusive, blueberry colored Cave Ogre.

Nightmare Mode by Corosis may make you rethink the whole "too weak" thing. Once saw an ogre smash all the way through my house.

Any possibility of making Nether-only mobs? Or perhaps moving the fire wraith and fire ogre over to the nether? I'm kinda tired of always walking through burning forests whenever I go out exploring, and it seems like they would fit a little better in the nether.

I registered just to post on this topic. I must say this is the best mod I have seen done for minecraft and adds an incredible amount of depth to the game.

Does anyone know if this is able to be used in SMP though? I run a multi server since I play with friends and would love to be able to get it going on there. The instructions don't say it isn't possible but they also do not show how to install it.

If anyone could help me out with this question that would be great.

Argh ok thanks. I kind of figured it would be too good to be true to be able to play it on multi right away.

I guess I'll follow the thread until that happens. Thanks again.
