I tried using the command: /give player Mocreatures:amuletpegasusfull 1 horseid, but all I get as a "sky amulet" is the black and pink "no texture" box, and it doesn't spawn anything.
If I can at least use the amulet command I could make a "vendor" to sell me horses or something. How can I solve this?
That's one of the main reasons. However I've changed my stance regarding modpacks. I would prefer people that decide to add my mod to modpacks to include me in the credits and avoid profiting from the release of the modpack. And at any time I reserve the right to remove that implicit permission.
Hey there, everyone. I've been trying to troubleshoot some compatibility with Mo' Creatures and Advent of Ascension, and I'm hoping to get some help.
This is on Minecraft 1.12.2.
Currently, I am using:
DrZharks MoCreatures Mod-12.0.4
CustomMobSpawner-3.11.4
AoA3-3.1.2.b
The issue that I am having is that the Advent of Ascension mobs are spawning correctly in the Overworld, but they are not spawning correctly in their respective dimensions (i.e. Creeponia has absolutely no mobs, outside of the non-hostile NPCs that spawn).
I have narrowed down the issue to being CustomMobSpawner, of course. I see that there is a folder for each dimension that AoA adds (Abyss, Vox Ponds, etc.), but there doesn't seem to be a way to turn off CustomMobSpawner for a single dimension. Is there a line that can be added or changed in the config file so that I can choose which dimensions the spawning is being adjusted for? I checked the global config file, and couldn't find anything there.
The only alternative that I could find was manually adding each mob's spawning behavior to the configuration, but AoA has so many mobs...That is not going to happen .
As a side note, I removed CustomMobSpawner entirely, but I didn't like the effects it had with the rest of my mods (I.e. BiomesOPlenty biomes were no longer spawning biome-specific creatures. CustomMobSpawner is supposedly 'required', after all. Any help that could be offered is appreciated! Thank you.
Have you ever thought about a new texture for foxes?
I just did especially for this mod. they are available in 3 variants, I know that for a long time no one wrote here but maybe the new texture will be useful to you in the game
So I have this problem in 1.7.10 and was hoping someone could help me:
The dragonflies, flies, bees...the insects in Mo's Creatures all make the player's "hurt" sound when I hit them or they die.I am wondering if my texture pack has something to do with it, since Ican change the player's sounds, however it still occurs when I don't use the texture pack.
Good news everyone! I have finally found the time to make the changes and add the license to make the mod open source, in case anyone wants to dig in the code and help maintain and update the mod. The mod is now licensed under GNU General public License v3 and is available at https://github.com/DrZhark/mocreaturesdev

Naw, I always used notepad for config, never had a problem.
I found out the real problem though: another mod was messing with it, fantastic fish!
Thanks for trying! xx
I have a serious problem for 1.12.2:
I can't get tier 1 horses to spawn
I tried using the command: /give player Mocreatures:amuletpegasusfull 1 horseid, but all I get as a "sky amulet" is the black and pink "no texture" box, and it doesn't spawn anything.

Tier 1 Horses were replaced by Vanilla Horses, You have to breed them with tier 2 Horses in order to get the higher tier ones.
Aah thank you!!
I know it's possible to add this mod to a modpack but how .... who do I ask or how do I get permission? Thanks!
Come over and check out Wulf Hollow Server!

While it's not a requirement, his suggestion would certainly make your config editing significantly easier and more organized.
Still waiting on that 1.7.10 backport. I'm not gonna stop waiting until it exists.

Hello, Dr.Zhark!
