It appears that the Min/Max Height settings for the Custom Mob Spawner configs are not working. I downloaded just the Custom Mob Spawner, version 3.4, and I attempted to make zombies and skeletons only spawn underground. I set maxSpawnHeight to 50 for both mobs, but it didn't seem to do anything. I did a few tests multiple times in creative mode in new worlds, and everytime night fell, zombies and skeletons spawned above ground, above level 60. If anyone can tell me If I'm doing anything wrong, or if they can fix the mod, I would appreciate it.

1.8 versions of CMS and MOC are still WIP. there are plenty of bugs left.

Alright, I settled for zombies and skeletons only spawning in dense forests and swamps (which does seem to work), and have some other mobs spawn elsewhere.
Is there a way to make wyverns spawn in the overworld? They don't have to spawn in their respective biomes like frost in ice biomes or anything just all of them randomly in the overworld

yes, just add the owerworld biomes to the canspawn biomes (entitybiomegroups.cfg, go th MOC_Wyvern (or whatever its called and paste the biome list from eg. MC_Skelleton) then you have wyverns all over
When I breed horses, i cant seem to be able to tame the horse they make. Straight after its born, it doesnt come up with the tame screen (the naming thing). So I feed it sugar cubes to make it grow and after that I give it an apple, comes up with tame screen, I name it. But then i cant try and ride or put a saddle on it? Any ideas?
when reporting issues, PLEASE include the version of MOC. there are currently two versions out. one for 1.7.10 and one for 1.8 which is WIP so there are still bugs in it.
So has anybody figured out how to get this to work with tekkit lite? I'm still just getting a blank screen after the splash. Single player, not server.

There are no logs more recent than two weeks ago, which is 12 days earlier than when I downloaded and installed the mod. This is likely because the game doesn't crash, it just never finishes loading.
On the last attempt, I left the game running overnight (approximately 8 hours) and it was still sitting on a blank screen when I checked on it.

if you dont have the crash log, then copy the game log. it will give a lot of usefull information even if it doesn't crash.

Most recent game log is July 22nd, caused by a corrupted immibis core config file overwritten by "NULL" characters. I reinstalled the pack since then, and have been playing consistently without problems since then, until installation of this mod.

Are there plans to make this mod compatible with forger server 1.8?
Yes, this mod will continue to update.
It will resolve all bugs, this will take time, it may not even be ready and (mostly) bug free until 1.9 or even further.
Just give it time.
Sorry if I seem frustrated, so, so many people just keep asking the same thing about the server compatibility and bugs such as BigCat breeding.
If only everyone realised that this version of Mo' Creatures is experimental and not completed. Do not treat test versions as real versions.

nope, no way to increase the limits for anything less than the whole dimension.

I want to see things like big fish or maybe more types of medium fish (bichers, coelacanths, etc) maybe even lobsters or crawfish?

are you looking in the logs folder? if you are not, you are looking in the wrong place.
