I have a big problem all mocreatures animals never spawn in any of my worlds, mo creatures hostiles spawns normally including all vanilla mobs HOW I FIX THIS???
Note: I already change spawn settings to 20 in all animals but still the same, nothing spawns
There's a major problem with CustomerSpawner and biome-adding mods. Specifically, if two mods add biomes with the same base name, or if a mod adds a biome with the same name as a vanilla biome - 'Forest' for instance - No mobs can spawn in these biomes. I tested this out with Better World Generation 4.
It should be based off of the full object name for the biomes rather than the display name.
can the custom mob spawner not refer to the entity's displayed name, but its internal name or such (so, something like modname.entityname, like MoCreatures.WereWolf)?
there are all kinds of conflicts because of that, like for example twilight forest's minotaur and grimoire of gaia 2's minotaur have the same displayed/translated name. problem is, one's a relatively common enemy, but appearing in only one dimension, and just in one structure. another is a boss type monster that appears very rarely, only in overworld.
currently both appear in the same place, and sometimes with ridiculous spawn rate (even at 1:1:1 i saw like 6 minotaurs standing around close to each other).
same goes for gog2's witch and vanilla witch, or twilight's naga boss and gog2's naga.

1. Press F9, go to General Settings, and turn them on.
2. Everyone gets it, as this is Zharky's first dimension. There's not really a way of 'fixing' it. I'm sure he plans on handling the lag in a later update.
I have found that if mobs aren't spawning in a certain biome you can hit f9, go to biome groups and then remove the biome from the list and then re-add it to another list and then back and mobs will successfully spawn. However, I cannot get mobs to spawn in the Outback biome from Biomes O' Plenty.
Edit: I overlooked the fact that Highlands also had an outback so I imagine that was preventing the Biomes O' Plenty outback from spawning any monsters and now I guess it has broke my test save but I have a couple more things to try before calling it quits.
Hmm... followed all of the steps in the video tutorial for using this mod in a server, as well as checked the FAQ (and did /gamerule doMobSpawning true) and still do not see any of the mobs... I'm trying to run a private server, and I get no error messages, yet when I look around, I only see the vanilla mobs.
I'm using Magic Launcher and a vanilla server. Doesn't work on vanilla game client.
I put Mo'Creatures Mod v5.1.5.zip into the .minecraft/mods folder, as well as the /mods folder where the server.jar is located.
I put GUI Api 0.15.4-1.5.1 only in the .minecraft/coremods folder.
CustomMobSpawner 1.12.5 in both the .minecraft/mods folder, as well as the /mods folder where the server.jar is located.
And I unzipped the forge file, copied contents, and pasted them into minecraft.jar (in /bin folder) as well as minecraft_server.jar, and it runs successfully both in the game client and server client.
Am I missing anything? Thanks.
Edit: I noticed that when I click the Mods button at the main menu of Minecraft, I do not see the Mo Creatures mod, only the CustomSpawner, GUI, forge modloader, forge, and minecraft coder pack.

to get a wyvern egg it is /give PLAYER_NAME 9034 1 54 assuming you didn't change any IDs
