Is there any way to make these mobs appear to "mc" to be part of it so that bukkit plugins can act on them as if they where real mc mobs. Not sure how much sense that makes

After yet more experimentation, I've had to give up and disable Mo' Creatures full stop. I've had many things just not spawn at all (especially villagers). Unfortunately Custom Mob Spawner is horribly broken (at least when mixed with other mods) and for me has become more trouble than it's worth as much as I love this mod.
I'm still dealing with the consequences of trying to get it to work again - after disabling Mo' Creatures and Custom Mob Spawner, I had NOTHING spawn at all. Nothing. No mobs, no creatures, nothing. Re-enabling Custom Mob Spawner got creature spawning back but I still have no mobs spawning AT ALL. It's so frustrating! I have spent hours and hours on this

make it hold one. I tried dropping it. Didn't work. I tried right clicking. Just put me on the Ostrich.

Hello, I'm sorry to be another one of "those people" who has a problem with the mod, But I tried installing the mod and everything else that was listed on the page that Mo Creatures required to run and met some resistance. (I'm using windows 8)
When opening the .jar file, the folders /mods and /coremods were not there. I watched several tutorials that stated if this happened I should just make these folders. I did and followed the instructions but when I tried to run Minecraft after logging in it black screened. Is this because of Windows 8? Or perhaps I should reinstall Minecraft or it's a bug? I have forced update twice without success and have no preexisting mods.

I'm a little confused about the Fairy Horses. When you breed the unicorn and the pegasus, you're supposed to lose both horses. Well, I got my Fairy Horse, but I also got a sky amulet. Was I supposed to get that? I used it and out popped my pegasus.
Also, when you put your pegasus in it's sky amulet, it loses it's name.
Lastly, to make a fairy amulet, you need a unicorn horn? So you have to breed a zorse, give it the fire essence to turn it into a nightmare, then give it a light essence to turn it into a unicorn all just to kill it to get the horn? (would it even drop a horn every time?)
If your talking about the minecraft.jar, the mods and coremods folder are not in there, they are in the root of your minecraft directory. Usually a black screen after the mojang splash is either "you havent deleted meta.inf" or youve installed the wrong thing in the wrong place. If youve chucked mods into the jar itself get a fresh jar, put forge in the jar and make sure you dont get the black screen. When thats done put guiapi into coremods. check that you dont gte a black screen. Put custom mob spawner and mo creatures into mods and test (do two at once, be brave go on !). You can always just delete a mod from the mods folder if the game does not boot.
ALRIGHT! I think I got it working. It had some java pop up when I logged in so I'm in. It works now in new worlds. Just a question, does it work in old worlds too?

No idea if it will work, but try copying your saves into a fresh Minecraft download.
Regarding spawning bugs: I've noticed that in the Nether wither skeletons aren't spawning, but so far that's the only real issue I've come across.

My friend is experiencing the same problem. No new vanilla mobs spawning after removing the mod. We were attempting to remove the mod since it is causing me to crash several seconds after joining in LAN mode. Is anyone here a bad enough dude to figure this out?

Regarding spawning bugs: I've noticed that in the Nether wither skeletons aren't spawning, but so far that's the only real issue I've come across.

My friend is experiencing the same problem. No new vanilla mobs spawning after removing the mod. We were attempting to remove the mod since it is causing me to crash several seconds after joining in LAN mode. Is anyone here a bad enough dude to figure this out?
