ME!! u need to breed a pagasus with a unicorn to get a baby fairy horse then put it in a fairy amulet to make it an adult. then u use these dies: blue(lapis lazuli), purple, green, yellow, lime green, orange, pink, light blue, cyan, and black(ink sac). and of cource theres the normal white one that u have to use to get the other kinds. although im a little sad to find out that there is no undead/zombie fairy horse that turns into a skeleton fairy horse. that would be so awesome.

I posted a bit before about this... but the ticking screen, tick exception, blah blah problems, after brainstorming with my hosting support for several hours, are being caused by the Linux hosting, and how it handles the tcp packets being sent out versus a windows system. Which explains why I can run this flawlessly on my home computer, but when I try to toss it on my private online test server, it disconnects any client machine trying to connect to it. From what I was told, it's how the information is packaged together, and they've been getting a ton of emails asking for support on their linux based machines not understanding why it doesn't work, but works on their home microsoft machines.
Just some food for thought. I can run this, and extrabiomesXL (which everyone says has issues) and quite literally 160 other mods at once on my home, WIn7 64 system. The linux server can also run it, without crashing, but any client connecting recieves a ticking screen or similar problem in this line:
at cpw.mods.fml.common.network.EntitySpawnPacket.execute(EntitySpawnPacket.java:175)
at cpw.mods.fml.common.network.FMLNetworkHandler.handleFMLPacket
Which I guess has to do with how the server is sending out new entities spawning into the world. Linux servers botch up the packets and clients get booted since they handle the information a bit differently. (Will happen randomly if the server is running under normal load, but as soon as it gets up to full steam with alot of people/chunks loaded, it sends these derped up packets out constantly and boots the clients.) I confirmed this on 4 different linux based servers, as well as my home linux test server.
I'd be interested to know if other people having the same error messages as I've been getting are trying to run off a linux system.
I've had the same issue on 64 linux on a home server. unfortunately the solution was to remove MoCreatures v4.5.1

[Minecraft mod Mo'Creatures off single mobs]

I am now looking after four hours on the Internet is still not a contribution to found and would be delighted if you could help me.
And I have a Tekkit Lite server with the latest version of Minecraft 1.4.7 running and have run the mod there Mo'Creatures 4.5.1.
Now complain more and more members, the ogre destroying everything that I myself think this is total rubbish that the ogres are Destructive so extreme.
In single player you can quite easily be eliminated by the mods options, the individual mobs. But now comes the question: How do I get it in the server does not set any mobs spawn and what?
With the normal server.properties can be eliminated only the custom mobs, but not the mobs from the Mod
Please help me I am desperate and have been spending hours on the Internet looking for a solution in vain ...

If you are using Windows... go into your %appdata% folder, look for the "config" directory. Open the MoCreatures.cfg file.
Set OgreFreq to 0.
OgreFreq=0
Or you can turn their strength down=0.1 or something.
Personally I love the ogres and golem.. creates more of a challenge.
so its not just me that's having problems updating from 1.4.5 to 1.4.7? because every time i try to use this with Extrabiomes XL it just crashes any idea if a solution is coming/available?
ok, i might just solve everyones problem with installing the mod, in the newest update, you put gui api in coremods, you dont put it straight into the minecraft.jar anymore, good luck.
I love this mod! I just cant get it to work now. Not sure if its because GuiApi is only v1.4.6. Does this download work on SMP?
are you still putting the gui api straight into the jar? in the new update you put it in the coremods folder, that you get after the installation of forge
Any ETA on the Bukkite version? I see the official server is up and running and using bukkit so that means theres an updated version already working can we expect a release soon?

I was wondering one thing. Back in the original days of horses. When they didn't have the awesome skins they have now. I remember being able to ride a horse all the way across a large plains biome and never have to press the jump button. Now I find myself using Thaumcrafts Boots of Traveling to accomplish this. I so miss being able to do it with horses though.
So...Will it ever be fully implemented again?
For a while there it still worked, but if I install Rei's Minimap, it would stop working. I thought that it might be something with the way Minecraft has been updated. But in my 1.4.6 world I have 30+ mods installed including Mo,Creatures and Minimap, and the Boots of Traveling still work great but not the horses. In my vote. (not that it matters that much) I would have kept the ability to free gallop my horse across the landscape. Over the stunning new skins. But hey, thats just me.

i did what the video guided still black screen forge people are telling me to use one of the third party launchers i don't trust launchers. i had a bad experience with third party launchers i don't need hacks, back doors, worms,keyloggers on my computers. i guess i wont be able to use any mod with forge. unless i am willing to take a risk my personal data get stolen which i'm not.

Indeed, unfortunately I've had to do the same. It's a real shame, as the code could be fixed pretty easily in a round-about way for linux server compatability. Just needs a few things adjusted, but I'm not going to decompile/recomplile someone elses work just for my own benifit. Perhaps I'll check back in a few weeks and see if there's an update pushed to fix it, or some such.
Surely GUIAPI IS a Core mod? The link pointing to it on the first page is to ShaRose's latest version isnt it? Or is it a special Mo Creatures version? If so, theres nothing on the install instructions that explains this, or says where its supposed to go?
And your install video is for 1.4.4 and isnt applicable, as it shows you putting stuff in the .jar

You can move it to the overworld by shoving the ostrich through a portal.
Or just feed an Essence of Fire to a regular ostrich.

I think using a diy mocreatures cfg makes it work-ish? +1 for Biomes O' Plenty support.
