while im sure you two would love to see your ideas in action, this modder is already being bugged by two minecraft updates (one now, one later), theres a post specifically for this sort of idea list... also, please dont ask for newer models, its better to have many poorly textured (which is the default minecraft style) functioning animals than a handful of perfect creatures, if you want to see new animals, try and see if you can find another mod that can work with mo creatures, or try your hand at creating the creatures you want... if you dont have that experience to create them, then be patient cause hes already working enough as is...
on a last note, the elephants were supposed to be added but the coding was not perfectly ready so DrZhark withheld them

I installed Biomes O Plenty and Mo Creatures but the mobs only seem to spawn in the vanilla biomes they won't spawn in the new biomes. Why is this happening?
I would like you to add a book that has the important information of this mod in it, as in How to Breed Horses, How to Tame the Tameable animals in the mod, and Certain other Things. This will make it so that other users and I don't have to go onto this post to see what we need to do for certain things and cause unnecessary Lag in minecraft and on the internet. AtomicStryker knows how to make it so that when you start a new world, you get an informational written book for his mod, so If you don't know how to do this, ask him.

I myself have witnessed some pretty disrespectful language and attitude towards some of the mods, and some of your actions have been, well, let's just say "questionable." Please send any appeal for clemency to either the mod who banned you or, if you feel that you were unfairly targeted, to Bloodshot45 (aka Kratos_Knox). Didn't see any mention of it before but the download links are down. The main and mirror links also point to the same URL (for 4.4.0 at least). Same goes for the Custom Mob Spawner as well.
Hey guys! I had posted this issue in the support section a while back, but I want to know if anyone else has had this issue, and maybe knows how to solve it.
I installed TC3 (Thaumcraft 3) at the beginning of 1.4.6 before Mo'Creatures was updated. I played it for quite a few months, and have gathered a lot of stuff in my world. I recently installed Mo'Creatures and loaded up this old world. I'm not getting any of the Mo'Creatures spawning in it (I've waited a few MC days, set it to peaceful, set it back to normal, killed things, etc) and at night, all I get are Thumcraft Zombies. At first this was only in this world, but recently, it's happened in EVERY world I make. I thought it might have been TC3 creating this issue, so I did some troubleshooting to figure it out (I did this with a new world, not the old save):
1) Removed TC3and Mo'Creatures- mob spawns returned to normal.
2) Put TC3 back, left out Mo'Creatures- mob spawns were normal with only a couple Thaum Zombies here and there
3) Put TC3 and Mo'Creatures back together- all I get are Thaum zombies at night, and very few Mo'Creatures during the day (usually insects)
4) Put Mo'Creatures, left out TC3- mob spawns and Mo'Creatures spawns worked fine
6) With TC3 and Mo'Creatures installed, set Mo'Creatures to defaults IG using API- same results as #3
Has anyone had this issue before? It's like TC3 doesn't work right with the spawner you need for Mo'Creatures? It just takes over? If you need more info, here is my post in the modded client support forums:

At this point, I'm not sure which mod is 'causing' the issue, so I figured I would start here since this started to happen when I installed the stuff to make Mo'creatures work.
you should make it that when you are riding a horse, OTHER mobs get pushed around, NOT the player/horse. I mean think about it, horses are an advantage on the battlefield because of speed AND because it is very heavy and it can push people around/ run them over. Now i know my suggestion will probably not be seen by the developers, so please share my suggestion.
Also make ghost horses walk throu 1-block-thick walls.
Hello, I haven't read through all of the posts as I'm following EE3s forum and just don't have time to read all of the pages for this thread but I have read a good bit of them. I have heard someone say that there was an issue with angry zombies from Thaumcraft 3 taking over all of the hostile mob spawns in their world. Another person replied saying that the issue was due to Mo'Creatures or more specifically the Custom Mob Spawner mod that Mo'Creatures is dependent on. Though I am having a similar problem and when I first had the issue I did not have Mo'Creatures or Custom Mob Spawner installed. I have since installed it though since I was having the issue before that I figured I would post this. What I think happened is that before I installed CMS and Mo'Creatures the angry zombies were just taking up most of the spawn chances for hostile mobs but there may have been the odd skellie or spider but they were very very minimal...as if angry zombies were just holding all the spawn spots and not many other mobs could spawn....maybe there spawn rate was too high idk really. Though now that I have Mo'Creatures I have absolutely no hostile mobs aside from the angry zombies from Thaumcraft 3 except...and heres the weird thing...for any other world but the overworld....the nether and End have the mobs they should have...wither skellies...skellies, magma cubes and all the vanilla spawns as well as the Mo'Creatures spawns. Also in Mystcraft ages the vanilla mob spawns seem to be fine. Oddly angry zombies still spawn in the mystcraft ages alongside the vanilla mobs unlike in my overworld, though they don't seem as numerous. I should mention that Mo'Creatures mobs spawn in the overworld with the angry zombies as well. I will be posting this on Thaumcraft3 forum thread as well and try to get in touch with the author. If there is any information I can give you to help anyone figure this out please feel free to personal msg me. If this has already been addressed please forgive me I don't intend to be a bother. Thank you for this super amazing mod and if theres nothing to be done about this issue I can live with no normal mobs in the overworld lol.
Ok so I must not have noticed but the angry zombies taking over the hostile mobs spawning happens in Mystcraft ages as well...the only place it doesn't appear to be happening is nether and I think that is only because the nether doesn't spawn angry zombies. Again I'm not sure who's mod is causing this because its Thaumcrafts mob that is replacing all the spawns but many people have recently told me that they are all experiencing the same thing when they have all of the mods Thaumcraft 3, Mo'Creatures, and Custom Mob Spawner installed. Beings that these mods are so important in a persons experience I really hope we can figure out what the problem is. I don't lose all Mo'Creatures awesome mods but Thaumcrafts game mechanics and content are so great I would have to give up Mo'Creatures. I'm sure tons of people out there do not want to have to make that choice as both of these mods are sooooo amazing and together really make the game of minecraft a whole new animal.
Uhm-Is there something this mod does that just insanely jacks up zombie spawns on normal difficulty? On normal, every zombie that spawns is a crazy angry zombie, and a zombie riding a dragon comes at me with a sword when I have a little iron helmet and iron sword. Is this normal? I have the same problem, wierdo spawning with the combo of Mo' Creatures and Thaumcraft. I'm going to experiment with the config a bit to see if I can get them to cooperate and will post here if I have any success....
Oh thank goodness, I'm not alone! Sorry, I didn't realize there were other people in here posting the same odd issues. I tried to read as much of the thread as possible, then I saw there were 2000+ pages xD If you find anything that fixes it, please do let me know <3 I'll keep trying my own methods to fix it as well and see what I can come up with. I plan on re-installing MC and all my mods tonight because of the 1.4.7 update.

Now Noiz, I've almost banned you a couple of times myself. You sir, can be a royal pain in the butt, and I cannot blame another mod for having less patience for you than I do. I myself have witnessed some pretty disrespectful language and attitude towards some of the mods, and some of your actions have been, well, let's just say "questionable." I'm sure this comes of no surprise to you. In the future, take note that this forum is for the mod, not for complaints about the server or staff. Please send any appeal for clemency to either the mod who banned you or, if you feel that you were unfairly targeted, to Bloodshot45 (aka Kratos_Knox). A three day ban is a trifle, but should serve as a warning that you are pushing your luck. Go outside and look at the big blue screen. No, you can't change the background or re-arrange the desktop, because it's called the sky. That big bright blinding thing? That's called the sun; don't stare directly at it.

I would say its NEI conflicting with another mod, maybe post the whole error?

I installed TC3 (Thaumcraft 3) at the beginning of 1.4.6 before Mo'Creatures was updated. I played it for quite a few months, and have gathered a lot of stuff in my world. I recently installed Mo'Creatures and loaded up this old world. I'm not getting any of the Mo'Creatures spawning in it (I've waited a few MC days, set it to peaceful, set it back to normal, killed things, etc) and at night, all I get are Thumcraft Zombies. At first this was only in this world, but recently, it's happened in EVERY world I make. I thought it might have been TC3 creating this issue, so I did some troubleshooting to figure it out (I did this with a new world, not the old save):
1) Removed TC3and Mo'Creatures- mob spawns returned to normal.
2) Put TC3 back, left out Mo'Creatures- mob spawns were normal with only a couple Thaum Zombies here and there
3) Put TC3 and Mo'Creatures back together- all I get are Thaum zombies at night, and very few Mo'Creatures during the day (usually insects)
4) Put Mo'Creatures, left out TC3- mob spawns and Mo'Creatures spawns worked fine
6) With TC3 and Mo'Creatures installed, set Mo'Creatures to defaults IG using API- same results as #3
Has anyone had this issue before? It's like TC3 doesn't work right with the spawner you need for Mo'Creatures? It just takes over? If you need more info, here is my post in the modded client support forums:

There are also some screenshots in there of the massive zombie spawns at night. Thanks for any help anyone can provide! If you think this is a TC3 issue, I would be happy to post this there. At this point, I'm not sure which mod is 'causing' the issue, so I figured I would start here since this started to happen when I installed the stuff to make Mo'creatures work.
Also make ghost horses walk throu 1-block-thick walls.

I have the same problem, wierdo spawning with the combo of Mo' Creatures and Thaumcraft. I'm going to experiment with the config a bit to see if I can get them to cooperate and will post here if I have any success....
