Not sure if this has been asked and answered yet, a lot of reply's to look through. For some reason only i can see the animals on my server, everyone else can join and play but they don't see the animals.
Hi! Thanks I'll try it when I get home from work, I'll just download forge, the mod and any other one that is not modloader. Also, Will this mod cause the "To Many Items" mod not to work.
Other than the requisite mods, no. But I'd suggest Optifine if you don't have it already c:
Salutations everyone;
I run a small local server for myself and a few friends; and have been considering using mods for a long time. From the olden days of beta1.12 to now we've been pure vanilla; and I feel its time for a change.
Ran a test environment on my local machine last evening; got everything working in single player. But after running about for a while I've been left with a few concerns...
1. Is there a way to set ... something, so that Ogres will not randomly destroy the environment unless they are aggressively chasing the player? I was all for the lumbering monsters until I saw a basic ogre get stuck on a small cave entrance, and proceed to pulverize the surrounding terrain out of existence until there was a large ravine right through the hill he was standing on. Because of this, I may just have to outright disable them.
2. Is there a way to simply remove the unicorns and pegasis from the horse spawning pool? I love the idea of horses as mounts; as we play a mostly medieval themed world; and have textures applied to iron armor to essentially make it stylized knight equipment. However the unicorn (and especially the prospect of allowing players to fly, a strict no-no in our admin's eyes) just doesn't really... fit? into our world. (also the pegasis spawn chance seems to be stuck at "1" i can't make it go lower. Also I know the chance is low, but I don't want them to be a valid breeding option either)
3. Scorpion bug; I'm having an issue with the scorpions. Sometimes when you kill a scorpion, it can spawn 'baby' scorpions to continue attacking you. However, there appears to be a scaling bug that actually causes them to be ... about 80 to 100 blocks tall. ie: massive. I am unable to find their hitbox, yet they can attack the player. Meaning any time one of these spawns; its guaranteed death unless you dig straight down immediately.
Why not make more tameable mobs that help and maybe something besides a pegasus can fly and make super rare tameables like dragons n stuff i want more destruction and more help Dragons, frogs,Elephants seals Eagles. Dragon are fire breathing and burn u down there kind of big they drop 40% chance of a egg there rare on easy medium on medium and sort of common on hard and add a new boss like the enderdragon but different like TheDestructor a nether boss comes out of a nether portal and spreads lava and spawns mobs and u hafta kill him to get a 50% chance of a egg and to make the egg hatch u put it in lava and as a small animal it drinks lava then when it grows up it kills s tuff for u if u hit them or they hit u :D! also giant wolfs maybe and destructive things ty
I need help with the mo creatures mod, the icon for the items dont show. i also have other mods installed. these mods are:
Mine and Blade
Death Chest
forge
Too many items
Rei's Minimap
Tale of kingdoms
Optifine
Just wondering - will this over-write the spawns for Wolves and Ocelots in-game? Could get a little crowded with both mod and non-mod Wolves and Cats/Ocelots spawning...
Correctly installed the mod but didn't work...not seeing in it global mod settings, just a black bar across my screen, anyone know what I did wrong, or could have messed up on?

I would also like to know where this is located; for server use.
I'm not good with servers, but
1. Yes, you can change the ogre's strength in the global mod settings. Ogres will not destroy blocks on the lowest setting. I don't have a server so I do not know how to change settings.

2. You may have to disable horses entirely
3. You are using an older version of Mo' Creatures. The giant baby scorpions bug is fixed in the latest version. View the change log for more information.
For some reason when i go into finder and open my minecraft folder there is no mods folder, What??? how can i get a mods folder and can i put the mod and custommobspawners in a different folder?(I am trying to download the SMP Version of it, if that helps at all)
: | ... You are amazing. You can't get any more money out of this and it's hard to publish new content on the web, and yet, you still keep at it. I don't think I would have done what you're doing right now...KEEP IT UP!

You make a mods folder. Go into your Minecraft folder and do the whole make a new folder operation (I don't own a Mac so I don't know how but I know you can) and then call it the following (without the quotes) "mods" No capitals. Now place your stuff in that. Or install Modloader first, then start your Minecraft, then there will automatically be a mods folder!
"Change vanilla spawns" should be turned on. It currently does not work for the slimes. Some mods such as extra biomes will screw it up.
As I said in an earlier post, that causes Minecraft to crash. Here's the error report if it helps:

1. I found this option and noted it also reduces the damage ogres do; which is disappointing as it removes a majority of their danger element. However I looks like you can go upto .9 without letting them break dirt. I'll just have to make it work.
2. Disappointing; but a reality of things. I'll live, especially since I can just ride Ostriches instead.
3. Good catch sir! Apparently I clicked the link for v3.6.0; not v3.6.2
So thank you for that. I will continue experimenting later in the eve, and report my findings then!
ok! I am getting black screen! The Meta File was not in the minecraft.jar when I added the files. Do I need to unzip the custom mob spawner and mo creatures files? Also when I click on "Mods" in the game it says "No Meta Data Found"
I don't know with servers, but try it .-.
