Happens to me all the time, your jar has gotten too big for your computer, and minecraft to handle, reset the jar, and only install some of the mods you are tring to install.
did you hit them or forget there bed, or kept them inside?

I am using Tales and MoCreatures as well, and I get this problem. The game loads and plays fine, but after about 5 mins its 100% gauranteed that it will do a saving chunks-->blackscreen.
They both just updated, so hard to tell which is causing it :S
Are you actually using Tales, or is it just in your sig?
Internal exception: java.io.IOException: String length of 1769366784 is higher than the max (65535).
the first number can vary, but the point is the same. this started since we installed Mo' creatures, only me and a few others get this. The other mods we got installed is IC2, BC, and the Hot airballoons mod. Is there any conflicting mods?
ihad at problem too i think the creator of the t.o.k mod fixed it (i found mo creatures 2.13.0 dosnt have this problem) try getting the newest verson of t.o.k upgrading or downgrading your mo creats (try 2.13.0 or the newest or the newest 2.13 version of mo creats)

So as the others've said, when i get on a horse and jump, they zoom up into the sky and die when they land unless you'er ontop of water.
The Horses also all have their life bars completly red as if they are on the verge of dying.
I tried to breed a new horse and the same thing happened so its not the old horses being incombatiple with the new version
This started happening since i updated Better than wolves, Millenaire, and Mo' creatures
It was working fine before, BTW was at 2.99, Millenaire was at 1.7.5
So the current mod I have are:
1. Mo' creatures
2. Too many Items
3. Millenaire
4. Fossil/Archaeology mod
5. Tales of Kingdoms
Again, all this happened after i updated
Well now i don't have any horses, i am horseless
1 - Can't name a kitten. The cats breed, have the kittens, the kittens are born wearing medallions. We right-click on the kittens (and the adult cats they become) with a medallion and there is no screen to name them! We were able to name the original two cats that we just found in the wild. We tried clicking on them with a book as well, but nothing.
2 - Our horses can't jump. They can only go down inclines. In order to get them up hill, we have to attach a rope to them, and then they can go up just fine. Otherwise, while riding them, they can only go over flat ground or go down slopes. They just can't climb at all.
Can anyone help me?
Could you not modify the size of your JVM via your Java runtime parameters ala. -Xincgc -Xmx1024M or -Xincgc -Xmx2048M ???
