i downloaded the need files and installed them as told in the instructions but all i got is black screen...any help? please?
delete bin file, mods folder, client mods folder, and config folder. Force update to get a new bin. re-install forge first and start game to make sure forge loads. then install the other mod parts as instructed. Usually the black screen was either META-INF file still has Mojang files in it or forge didn't load correctly.

Yours is a block ID conflict. Easy fix is make a copy of the config folder then delete it.. start game and see if conflict comes back.

Question....does Mo Creatures replace the normal spawn time of normal animals, like the sheep, pig, cow? I had something weird happen. I ended up being on a water world type area with just an island, and animals kept spawning on it at a surprising rate. In no time at all, I seemed to be over run with animals there. Is that supposed to happen, or is there possibly something wrong?
I just need to know, so I know if there's something wrong or not. If that's normal though, that really sucks for survival island types.

I made a 64x version of the rabbit skin if anyone wants a skin that gives them somewhat believable haunches and finer whiskers and refined visuals overall. All five variants, show interest, and I'll bother to upload it somewhere.

No wither skeletons for me too. In addition, I also don't get any endermen in the end.
This mod really makes the game come alive, but I really wish there was a way for it to be more 'friendly' towards other game mods creatures, and dimensions. Ars magica adds a bunch of new mobs and I've seen one once in my world. Thaumcraft stuff I've seen more of but only from spawners. I hate that I feel like I have to choose between all the wonderful animals, or having other game enhancing mods like the above.
Maybe even just a way to have mo'creatures (or the custom mob spawner) recognize the other mods creatures so that it will handle their spawns as well. Could add which mods, or creatures you wish it to recognize in the config or something.
Just wondering, are you going to divide up the items like in 1.5? I figure that this has already been asked, but I don't really want to look through the 2000+ pages.
There should be mermaids, they would spawn in the water and they would attack you, and poison you with a potion of slowness and maybe a new potion that makes you heavier and that decreases the amount of time you can be underwater, then, they drag you into the water trying to drown you. When you kill one, it would drop a scale wich you can brew into potions of heaviness and the one that makes you drown easier or they could be crafted into a new "mermaid armor" which would allow you to go faster underwater or something. Got this idea from a post on Reddit, talking about sea mobs that could be implemented into 1.5. Thanks in advance!
I know im probably going to be silently ignored by the mod developers, but tamed creatures should not count towards the creature spawn limits. I have all the horses, but nothing else is spawning except for hostile creatures, and i can only imagine this is due to me having 30+ horses.
EDIT: i also have to mention that i have 5 scorpions, 6 big cats, 5 dolphines, a panda and a turtle... And my world is really old. Like older than five months, idk why but i think the world's age has something to do with bad spawn rates. And please dont tell me to change spawn rates on the Global Mob Options, im suggesting not to count tamed creatures towards overall spawning settings.
I know this may seem "newbish"... But I'm really NOT going to spend hours going through two-thousand pages of posts... So... The "Unicorn" item available in creative through this mod is absolutely useless... Or am I doing something wrong..? Not to mention that other people have said that finding a unicorn is easy... I can't find any... Also the amulets do nothing as well... So I'd like a little more information please.
I dont understand why nobody has quoted you, i totally agree with you. And i dont think unicorns exist at all without you having to make them.
