Hello, I haven't read through all of the posts as I'm following EE3s forum and just don't have time to read all of the pages for this thread but I have read a good bit of them. I have heard someone say that there was an issue with angry zombies from Thaumcraft 3 taking over all of the hostile mob spawns in their world. Another person replied saying that the issue was due to Mo'Creatures or more specifically the Custom Mob Spawner mod that Mo'Creatures is dependent on. Though I am having a similar problem and when I first had the issue I did not have Mo'Creatures or Custom Mob Spawner installed. I have since installed it though since I was having the issue before that I figured I would post this. What I think happened is that before I installed CMS and Mo'Creatures the angry zombies were just taking up most of the spawn chances for hostile mobs but there may have been the odd skellie or spider but they were very very minimal...as if angry zombies were just holding all the spawn spots and not many other mobs could spawn....maybe there spawn rate was too high idk really. Though now that I have Mo'Creatures I have absolutely no hostile mobs aside from the angry zombies from Thaumcraft 3 except...and heres the weird thing...for any other world but the overworld....the nether and End have the mobs they should have...wither skellies...skellies, magma cubes and all the vanilla spawns as well as the Mo'Creatures spawns. Also in Mystcraft ages the vanilla mob spawns seem to be fine. Oddly angry zombies still spawn in the mystcraft ages alongside the vanilla mobs unlike in my overworld, though they don't seem as numerous. I should mention that Mo'Creatures mobs spawn in the overworld with the angry zombies as well. I will be posting this on Thaumcraft3 forum thread as well and try to get in touch with the author. If there is any information I can give you to help anyone figure this out please feel free to personal msg me. If this has already been addressed please forgive me I don't intend to be a bother. Thank you for this super amazing mod and if theres nothing to be done about this issue I can live with no normal mobs in the overworld lol.
Ok so I must not have noticed but the angry zombies taking over the hostile mobs spawning happens in Mystcraft ages as well...the only place it doesn't appear to be happening is nether and I think that is only because the nether doesn't spawn angry zombies. Again I'm not sure who's mod is causing this because its Thaumcrafts mob that is replacing all the spawns but many people have recently told me that they are all experiencing the same thing when they have all of the mods Thaumcraft 3, Mo'Creatures, and Custom Mob Spawner installed. Beings that these mods are so important in a persons experience I really hope we can figure out what the problem is. I don't lose all Mo'Creatures awesome mods but Thaumcrafts game mechanics and content are so great I would have to give up Mo'Creatures. I'm sure tons of people out there do not want to have to make that choice as both of these mods are sooooo amazing and together really make the game of minecraft a whole new animal.
to get a black pegasus i think you give a zorse an essence of darkness, and for a white one, fly the black pegasus above cloud level, and give it the essence of light.
It still makes me sad that the custom mob spawner despawns farm animals (pigs, sheep and cows) and so I can't make a big farm.
Can anyone recommend animals from Mo Creatures that would make for a good large farm?
I'm breeding horses, but from what I understand they never drop any food and they're tricky to breed. I'd like animals that drop food and are easy to breed.

If you put lots o torches in your animal pen,, the farm animals won't despawn

Do you have DespawnVanilla=false in the Mo'Creatures config?
I've so many goddamn farm animals wandering around my server we didn't even need to set up farms to keep up on food supplies. We have to kill 'em like deer. Not even the scorpions keep them in check.
May I be unbanned from your AWESOME SERVER!!! I love it so much and was going to donate because it is the funnest server I have ever played on (LITERALLY)!!!. My IGN is darkceed. The reason I was unbanned was for lighting the ground with fire with flint and steel. Then someone walked into it on propose and told kalasto. Then I got banned. I read the rules so I know what not to do and am looking forward to playing on it again.
Like I said I will donate 10 dollars and want to play on your server.

Hello! First off I want to say I love the mod! Last time I played it was back in early beta.
However, I have a problem with my Bukkit server loaded up with only Mo'Creatures. A reply to this issue would be much appreciated, as I have troubleshot many things and I have run out of ideas.
I have installed the mod correctly many times on my client and on my server (to the best of my knowledge) and when I or someone else goes to craft an item from the mod, it appears in the crafting bench for a split second then disappears. However, I can spawn the items in and use them no problem, which leads me to believe its just a server error.
Does anyone know the fix for this? I had the same problem with Flan's Mod but re-installing fixed the problem.

special horses can only breed with essences. try giving them essences of light.
I recently updated to Minecraft 1.4.7, and updated all of my mods. I'm afraid I'm having an issue with the Global Mod Controls. I've tried a couple of fresh installations and the Global Mod button is still missing. The creatures appear in-game, and everything else seems fine. The config file does not show up, nor does the 'mocreatures' folder in the 'mods' folder. I'm at a loss. I'm using the latest Forge, and have all the files (CustomMobSpawner and GuiAPI, latest versions) installed. Other mods that I have installed are Twilight Forest, Tropicraft, TreeCapitator, ReiMiniMap, CraftGuide and TooManyPlants. All are latest versions. The previous versions of all the mods (including Mo' Creatures) were installed before I updated from 1.4.5 to 1.4.7. Is it an issue with 1.4.7? Ack!
Do you plan on making this mod compatible with the many different Biomes in Biomes o Plenty? BOP is now Forge based and has a lot to offer that would go great with Mo Creatures. Problem is the mobs in your mod do not spawn in the new Biomes, and the ones that do, spawn a crazy amount of mobs.

Hai everyone, so i have a creative server (for my home network only) with the following mods: mo creatures, alien vs predator, the twilight forest, and millenaire. So far, i havent felt the need to make it public, but if you guys feel like its a good idea, then let me know and i will get it up and running!!! (You can do pretty much WATEVER you want no messing with other's creations though). I mostly use it to make houses and buildings and that kinda crap.
