Some stuff i hate right now is people still making suggestions for his mods right now. Honestly, not trying to be mean, but he has enough to worry about right now insted of his mods, i get that people are trying to help by making suggestions, but really we should support him, to help him make it through those diffcult times, he should put a donation button up, and really many people would donate, but please guys just let him try to figure this out, and stop saying all this stuff about the mods, its about him and his life :smile.gif:
Well, bad news guys, my life has kinda taken a turn for the worse.
In november I had to move in with my brother, and since then I've been helping them with their kids and moving around the rooms and such, which we finally completed a week ago, thought I was finally seeing a return in productivy.... Then..
The landlords managing this building just switched to some new ones, and it seems my brother and his wife are behind $1800 in rent, the new ones don't seem to want to deal with this and restarted a legal process of kicking us out, FAST, my brother thought it wasn't legal to kick out a family with kids, but looks like he was wrong.
Today we got confirmation that we can't fight it. So now my brother, his wife, their 5 year old, their 2 3 year old twins, and myself, are getting kicked out onto the streets in 3 days, 3 ****ING DAYS.
We are ****ed.
TLDR: No modding updates from me for who ****ing knows how long.
And Coros, if you read this, I would strongly suggest putting up a donate button. I'm poor too now and wouldn't be able to donate, but odds are some people would and thought it might not be much, it would still probably help.
Hey going to post a Dirty fix i found to get ZombieCraft to work so people can stop asking Corosus while he is trying to get his life back in order.
To get Zombiecraft to work you need a copy of the 1.0.0 version of minecraft.jar (if you don't have it use MCNostalgia and select 1... make sure your minecraft.jar is 1.1 and unmodded though) after you get the 1.0.0 minecraft.jar rename it mctemp.jar and move it out of the folder (if you don't it will be overridden) but leave the .minecraft\bin\ folder open and make sure mctemp.jar and where you can quickly grab it. Now here is the dirty part, open up zombiecraft as normal and force update it now when it FINISHES saying "Retrieving: mctemp.jar" (it should start retrieving <yourOS>_natives or something) QUICKLY drag in the mctemp.jar i had you move and let it override the current one, you need to do this before zombiecraft gets to the "zc.patch.lzma to zc.patch" set. If done right the "Done loading..." freeze will be fixed. DO NOT UPDATE AGAIN till Corosus gets his life back and updates it to 1.1 or whatever the version is when he can return to modding.
The problem is the mctemp.jar that is downloaded by the installer is actually the newest minecraft.jar but the .patch files downloaded are for 1.0.0. Thus some of the code does not line up and you end up with a broken zombiecraft.jar.
These steps will also work for the zombiecraft editor, all it does is makes the 1.0.0 version of zombiecraft.jar and then applies zc_editor.patch to it.
Hope this helps.
PS: Thanks for making ZombieCraft Corosus and I hope your life gets back on track
