Using the new 1.10 weather mod. When I put the newest optifine in my mods folder, the clouds turn into water and lava textures.. I hope this can be fixed somehow because this mod would look amazing with shaders!
I've watched FireResistance with shaders and weather mod... I wanted it so bad i had a dream... It looked SO REALISTIC!!! I was so excited! But when i woke up... I was upset! XD I wish my computer would load shaders... But it crashes EVERY SINGLE TIME! I got annoyed, So i don't use shaders... I wish i could though! IT LOOKS AMAZING!!!! For now i use FireResistance's weather resource pack... AKA: V1U1 Resistance Weather Pack... 1.7.10... But isn't compatible with 1.10.2 or 1.6.4 i don't think... Speaking of... I don't even use localized weather & stormfronts for 1.6.4... Only Weather & Tornadoes... What? Your able to spawn tornadoes that aren't always above you! or near you! You get time to get to shelter!! And it less laggy sometimes... My computer can withstand *WITH OPTIFINE* 2 F5's 4 F1's 3 F2's 2 F4's... That's a lot! Well... That's what i think! And i have the same problem with the optifine deal with 1.10.2... water and lava particles. Hope he fixes that! <:)
I'm so impatient. I just can't wait for the update! It's going to be so awesome! I will probably try it out on a different version until he can fix 1.10. Running from a tornado and hiding, hoping your stuff is okay, just seems like so much fun! lol
So the cloud partials spawn, and the radar icons appear with journeymap? Cause that's all that I need to work
That's how it used to be for me on the 1.8.9 version of the mod, the clouds would partially spawn or wouldn't even spawn at all, but on the 1.10.2 version of the mod it appears that the weather mod works perfectly fine with a map.

That's good, and I just tested Xaero's 1.10.2 minimap today with it too. It works! The cloud partials spawn at least. Haven't tested with the radar yet.
Is it possible to disable fire from lightning without having the game crash? When I put the fire from lightning to -1 in the settings, the game freezes the crashes. The reason I disable this is because the rain that the mod controls doesn't put fires out. So a thunderstorm causes massive forest fires. Is there a way around this? Will it be possible to have the rain put the fire out like in vanilla before a forest fire starts?

The pack isn't compatible with 1.10.2...
The only one i know is: 1.7.10
If it was compatible, I would tell you.
I haven't played with the updated weather mod yet, can someone test if minimaps work with it now? I know Xaero's minimap is up for 1.10.2
Not sure if Xaero's minimap works with it, but I know Journeymap is. Was having problems with it working with Jouryneymap before.

Umm... This it Coroutil 1.1.7 and localized weather & stormfronts 2.3.14 both for 1.10.2...
You're using optifine, aren't you?
Definitely looks like an optifine error, I get the same thing when using it.
Yes... I know what it does, But i "NEED" OptiFine... Or it drops to "0 - 16 FPS" With it's "0 - 56"
I get the same weird cloud effects, except instead of fire textures it's log textures with optifine
